I love the struggle on the vocal warmups. I keep telling my kids, vocal exercises are supposed to be tricky so that when you sing it's easy... I also tell them "Give me the ugly so you can give them the beautiful"... I will keep this video and show my students... YOU ARE FANTASTIC AND I LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!

She is miss personality! She is a true master teacher, giving the criticism with sugar so the student wants more. Her love of life, not just singing is infectious.

I don't know how Cheryl ended up in my KZread feed, but I'm so glad she did. I LOVE HER! Having so much fun watching her vocal coaching and the progress her students make. Back when I was taking lessons, I did like my coach but if I'd had someone like Cheryl maybe I could really sing instead of just carry a tune well enough to be in bar bands 😂

As an instrumentalist and now singer-in-progress, this is such a fun masterclass/lesson to watch; when I feel unmotivated I watch it and I am reminded of what a joy it is to collaborate with other people and create one's own personal style/interpretation of a piece/song. When he let loose and sang in chest, he went from 10-100. You can tell he has so much soul and has a great passion for this!

Just stumbled across her channel. OMG! It's my favorite. She just makes me smile, wish the world had more humans like her. She shines light!

I love how she just compares them to themselves and encourages and supports them right where they are at and what their voice wants to do, as opposed to some outside standard or goal. I really love watching it. It is somehow so comforting to watch.

Wow, found myself cheering for this kid as he progressed. Loved how he improved right in front of us. Just discovered her 10 minutes ago, this is the 2nd video of Mrs. Porter's I've watched today, and apart from her being a natural at bringing out the best in her students, she has a really great quality of student. This young man, and the Spanish young lady on the other video...both very humble and willing to take direction. Nice!

@TBTT Who do you think Bruno sounds like? How can he sound like someone that sounds like someone else? Micheal Jackson didn't copy anyones sound he made his own. He sounds like himself lol. Nothing like MJ or bruno. He's actually closer to bruno. I'd say between bruno and Stevie wonder. People like MJ and tevin Campbell are high tenors. Tevin at one point was a counter tenor.
