I’ve noticed that some twenty somethings seem to really hate America. My youngest keeps saying it sucks here and he wants to move to Japan. My niece was complaining about our country using all the catch phrases: the systematic racism, the patriarchy, etc. She couldn’t give any examples but knew the script. It’s pathetic.

I saw 2 well developed teenagers on bikes, toddling stopping,! All over the street and could barely ride the bikes. The internet and social isolation and parental coddling is stunting the emotional development of people. This is why 22 year olds act 12. Mentally, they still are.

I was a landed immigrant in Canada for 7 years and I had to go through a lot of paperwork and proof of being able to support myself. Both Canada and Mexico have rules and policies that need to be met in order to reside their countries. It really saddens me when people make statements that they have no idea if they are factual or not. People need to research before they speak.

My buddy got turned away at the border on our trip to Canada for having a DUI on his record. That’s as a visitor. Canada has a very strict border. 40 years ago when we were waiting for political asylum, Canada, Australia, New Zealand did not want us because my parents were almost 50 and I was in a wheelchair. USA opened its doors to us asking no questions and we’ve been ever grateful. It makes us very sad that so many young people don’t appreciate it and want to destroy it

Sorry to hear that were unable to get into New Zealand . I know that during those times in the 80s we were having hard times and we did take limited Asylum seekers . I also know we had hard limits to how many we take every year so it might have been a case of bad timing or even there could have been a family that was more in need just because you didn't get in doesn't mean anything bad or good . Its a bit like job seeking you can apply for 100 jobs but if there is 1000 people applying then you are going to have 900 unhappy because they didn't get the job so is it the employers fault or the job seekers fault ? Well its no ones fault its just limited spots .

Kudos to your work and the time and effort you put into it! Not an american, nor I'm aiming to become one so I can say i'm pretty unbiased to what's going on in the US. But according to me there is so much bullsh*t right now that sometimes it's hard for me to apprehend. But you seem to be one of the few SANE people in that country that has a brain and is not afraid to use it! So my admirations! I come from an ex-communist country! One third of my life i lived under communist rule and despite whatever you might have read and been taught, these were some of the best years of my life. Won't get into details just wanted to share with you that back then we were taught critical thinking even if it is against the ruling party. Of course we were not allowed to express our thoughts but it makes me wonder sometimes: is it better to have a thinking mind or to be free to express your opinion no matter how stupid it is. Because this is what i see: young people that got caught over a "false" idea that literally fight over it without even giving a second to examine it and prove it right. But they are willing to fight over it fanatically and then accuse others of being intolerant. And this is what in my opinion is the main probelm of the US and all the rest of the world that has adopted this kind of thinking/behaving. Once again respect for your hard work and really hope that work is seen, appreciated and followed by more people!

In Sydney we have had several Immigrants from India kept locked up as Slaves with one Man who died a few days after being rescued after 2 years . He was used as free labour never seeing anyone ever with no sunlight and locked up in the dark of the Restaurant in the inner City on a main busy street he was imprisoned in. This can happen to anyone at anytime anywhere in the World. This is only one problem of how people can lost to the system. Evil stuff. People can get manipulated, hurt or killed. The youth today can never see the Forrest through the trees. Humanity does not have to stop but responsibility must be applied. Pray for the others who may find themselves in these horrific situations.

Don't protest until you know fully what you're protesting about. Don't use hearsay and emotions, bring logic, facts and evidence to prove your point.

Every citizen of the USA is being tracked in many ways beginning with SSNs. Why shouldn’t people who do not have a vested interest in the success and wellbeing of USA be investigated and tracked as well? Why do they sneak in? What are they hiding?

I am unbelievably sick of hearing the words “hate speech” it’s just a manipulative way for liberals to stop conservatives from being able to speak.

Damn, had I been the one wearing the hat and she reached out to swipe at me, she would have been knocked the fuck out on camera. We have to have paper work! My brother was ran over by a drunk illegal Mexican literally scrambled his body parts all over the road and my mother had to see that! That was last time she seen her son in parts all over the road. Because of him being illegal there was no way for the police to catch him he stayed hiding or went back to Mexico who knows :,( but justice was never served for him murdering my brother.

As a Canadian trust me you can't just walk on by and drink a beer on us. That's not how it works. I came to Canada in 89 and we needed to be sponsored, work, go to school and take the citizenship test. Those two dudes have no clue

The guy who said anybody can just walk right into Canada and be welcomed with open arms is dead wrong! We have a legal immigration process that's as stringent as; in fact, probably more than the US. Now, if he's talking about legitimate refugee applicants, that's a whole other story.

Doesn't Canada have a points system or something like that for immigrants (other than legitimate refugees)? I.e a system that prefers immigrants that have something of value to the country, such as education, work experience, etc. I think I read that somewhere.

@@init100 yes indeed. And as a US citizen you will never be allowed to immigrate to Canada unless you can prove that you not only bring some value but are entirely self sufficient. You have to prove that you won’t be a burden on the system before they will even consider you.

This is VERY scary.

It must be absolutely terrifying to be this scared everyday. Scared of words, conversation, disagreement, differing ideology, my god. I've never seen a group as weak and afraid in my life. The crazy thing they actually think they're achieving something. The only thing they are achieving is making themselves look an absolute laughing stock. If I had a kid like this I would be so fucking embarrassed and upset with myself, as I had obviously fucked up as a parent. Tony: I don't believe most parents were aware this was happening to their kids because it didn't happen to them while they were in school. Over the pandemic, seeing what's been going on in so many schools, parents have become more and more aware of what's going on in Education. That's why there are a groundswell of parents demanding change and are trying to get rid of the board members allowing schools to rob students of their Rights to an education to be able to compete for future jobs with their contemporaries all over the world

Also there have been documented cases of human right violations by the agriculture industry against illegal immigrants who are willing to accept deplorable conditions in which to work because Noone knows what is going on and they don't know they can expect more. What about the cases where people pile into the backs of unventilated trucks to try to get across the border and die. Noone can protect you as human beings if you are sneaking across undocumented.
