Totally agree.

Azpi is one of the greats in my eyes. Game in game out, he performs amazingly and always works for the team not just himself. Makes me wonder why people dont think he is on the level of Ramos, Pique and Boateng.

I think you missed my point. He is a leader and as much captain as Gary Cahill. Team mates in football aren't going to care who's wearing the armband . If you take it off Gary and put it on Dave, will it change anything? I argue, no not really. Its just an elastic band and it's for the media/fans to obsess over, not the players.
