phil foden is the best player in the world period. if you dont look at statistics, in terms of confidence, how you move with the ball, making quality passes, scoring quality goals. dribble. he is literally a complete footballer.

Saka needs penalties and can’t play that much positions. And he isn’t as influential on a game overall. Foden can do way more than saka. Saka is a fantastic player though, don’t get me wrong.

Is Foden the player of the season? I don't know but what I do know is keepers and defenders are at a disadvantage in this quest. How do I know that? Well, the empirical evidence of recent past winners. The writers choice in 71-72 and 73-73 was Gordon Banks and Pat Jennings. Those days are long gone.
