heavy blow air variant is true you just have to wait a second before doing it when you downslam them into it. you can try it out in training

The reason why 4 didnt combo extend at times is because when the opponent is downslamed, they have a small invincible frame (exclusively to only m1s, moves can still be used and hit), so to make 4 combo extend, you have to delay your 4 for like 0.3 seconds

I'm pretty sure u gotta delay the downslam version of heavy blow a little, if u do it instantly off of downslam i think they have lingering s
