if you start to get into that situation, you need to act sooner. because overtime our strength of will declines (literally due to lack of nutrition). I agree with your sentiment but I know most people only last about 2-3 weeks of strong discomfort or pain then they break. We don't really know why the few who don't break manage it.

Yeah, I've already seem some rather grizzly treatment of certain Russian POWs by Ukrainian troops (like mutilation and attempted beheadings), I'd expect traitors to probably get the very worse of treatment. This is not to say that Russians are humanitarians either when it comes to treating POWs; just look at their filtration camps and mass executions of surrenderees in the Second Chechen War

Even asking civilians walking on the streets to please witness this arrest and interrogation on site. I am writing this today as I have seen similar situations on the battlefields in the meantime , and the Ukraine soldiers were always treating them 'fairly' until a court will decide one day later on... Double agents only work if you have them in groups sending the same information, no intelligence agency takes the information from one spy and uses it unless it can be verified. You would have to infiltrate more then one spy ring in an area and get them to send the same info while making sure you don't have other spies sending different information.

For the same reason Mexicans in America still identify as Mexican or Mexican-American. Geographical borders don't perfectly separate people by race and nationality. Many are cross-breeds, so to speak, cross-nationalities. In most parts of the world this isn't an issue. In places like the Ukraine, of course, different story because of the aggression of the other state.

If they don’t want to adapt to the country they are in, they should ask to be repatriated. Like Jewish people to Israel, like ethnic Germans from Eastern European countries, like Japanese from Brazil, and many more examples. There are 5 million Russians or Russian descendants in US, over a million in New York. If they feel discriminated against what is the solution? Either they try to integrate, or they go home. I watched a video of paramedics entering a Ukrainian city to save injured citizens a few weeks ago, the area was surrounded by high rise apartments. Within a couple of minutes they were targeted by Russian artillery, couldn’t help but feel that someone local was guiding in those rounds.

Note to CNN. Just because they speak Russian primarily does not mean a Ukrainian is Russocentric. In my personal experience living in Kiev, almost all people spoke Russian primarily, but we’re not fond of Russia at all and felt very Ukrainian.

I’ve noticed that, because of what Russia is doing, most of them have begun to write and speak Ukrainian as their primary language as an act of patriotism and feel soothed hearing others use it, as they can be sure that they are Ukrainians, not Russians.

With this money you can only buy products for one or two days or buy a new sweater. Or buy 10 packs of the cheapest cigarettes. This money is just nothing for Ukraine. All wars end in one of two ways: the complete annihilation of one side or in negotiated peace talks. I dont see Ukraine annihilating Russia anytime soon, so yes i think peace talks are needed and yes Ukraine will most likely need to concede Donbas. The heavy burden imo is trying to justify the continuation of a clear war of attrition where one side is entirely dependent on other countries to supply them with the resources necessary to keep fighting. Please try to justify to me why more Ukrainians need to die over a war that cannot be won in any meaningful sense anymore. Do not be fooled by media coverage, Ukraine has lost this war. The sheer devastation of the country and the amount of people displaced will change Ukraine forever. This needs to end now.

Victory to Ukraine. ☮💛💙 . That nation stand together can never be defeated for the Ukrainian people this is their home and they did the best to defend with the 2nd army worldwide .
