I hate city but I loved our battles , they came out on top most the time but they surely felt the same as us in terms of the weight on the chest etc.

Tbh if not for Pep, Liverpool would've won multiple EPL trophies with klopp. Klopp is great manager and pep is an incredible football coach. They've different personalities, style of playing and huge difference in their club spending 💰. But Pep is probably the best coach in the world

All credit to Pep he’s been a gentleman throughout his career playing and managing. Really hope we can win no 20 for Jurgen he deserves another title.

Pep came out on top of this rivalry every single time except one when they were in transition… easily the better manager of the two but great respect for Klopp

Also compare the clubs they managed lol. Pep has always had star laden teams with massive budgets, Barca Bayern City. Klopp has built struggling teams with smaller budgets, Dortmund then Liverpool. It's massive credit to him that he's even competed so consistently with Pep.

@@anweshchatterjee7595 we don’t know if Klopp can do better though… for example Mourinho did better at Porto arguably more than he did that Chelsea. Likewise he found a lot more success at Inter than Real. He was better with worse clubs. (Obviously levels apart) Lampard did well before Chelsea started splashing money for him with Havertz, Werner, Ziyech, etc. Would be nice to see Klopp at a club with great resources and we can see his peak. It would be very exciting.

I'm a City fan and that's not true. They always pushed us right to the brink. As much as I dislike all the fan vitriol and tribalism, Liverpool have been absolutely phenomenal and it was never easy to beat them.

nothing... klopp had not so best choice of players. klopp stripped the director and transfer chief roles and took it upon hinself later claiming “I can't work on three wheels”. on alternate universe, given LFC spends freely, Klopp working on three wheels. I don't see klopp being successful...

Very true, but City have brilliant players, world class players. But not players among the greatest of all time. Early City before Pep Guardiola were arrogant, and a horrible club. City with Pep Guardiola are class and a phenomenal club, because of him. And I say that as someone who doesn’t support City, and hate how they are owned by a state with unlimited money.
