I love playing Bohemian Rhapsody, and I love sharing piano with others. Imagine how amazing it was to discover a new young pianist, and when he said could we play something together, and he does not tell me what it is, but he starts playing Queen Bohemian Rhapsody! Let me be really clear - this was not rehearsed, not practiced. WE have never met him before. His raw talent is truly amazing. To be able to play it is pretty good already, but to be able to adapt to someone you don't know is something that means he has true innate musical ability. Dec 2022 replay of the Cole Lam & 9 yr old boy playing a duet of Bohemium Rhapsody, on Oct 21, 2023 just now online on my phone ....the boy is @pianoserd. I heard it first several months ago! Incredible! These two should perform together whenever they can!! I would happily buy tickets to see them perform! Both are extremely talented and "fell into" their duet, as if meant to perform together!! Kudos!! As a former orchestra violinist, I can say with certainty: This was not an easy thing to pull off! And the "Magic" was All due to these two young muscians!! More Please!!

This song resonated with the children. My grandson has wanted to play the violin since he was 3 years old. Today he is 9 years old and has been learning this instrument for about 4 years. He was about 4 years old when, strangely enough, he heard the David Garrett version of Bohemian Rhapsody and loved it. When we played him the original, he was hooked. Now he wants to learn to play this song on the violin and also on the piano.

I started listening to this when it hit my feed. I got halfway through it, pulled off my headphones and called my husband in. We both sat here amazed. Thing is, my husband started playing when he was 7 and by 8 was the church's piano player. The very first time I saw him, I was walking the halls at a convention and at 3 a.m. he was in the hotel lobby playing Beethoven on their grand. Ten years later I "met" him and we've been married 30 years this year. He practices daily now, and I love listening to him. HE was very impressed with this, @PIANOSERD and 2ColeLam. He said that the young guy has a bunch of talent and said to tell him that he should always practice any time he can. Bruce (my husband) is now 66 and still plays for me. I hope both of you continue to play and enjoy the music, because you touch people's hearts. Thank you. ps. I've subscribed to both feeds.

It just warms my soul that a young boy is aware of and appreciative of such an old classic, not to mention how well he plays.

Extremely talented young man. Piano has been a love of my 16 year old grandson since before a teacher would accept him at a school. He started training at 6 and we immensely enjoy his recitals to this day. Music truly rounds out a child’s mental health. Our oldest plays the guitar.

My kids all learned music.they all play piano. My son also plays guitar clarinet and sings in an 80s tribute band. My youngest also plays flute. I learned piano and learned to read music. Im learning guitar...slowly..im 66 now. Music is another language and all children should get a chance at it. When they arent confident at school or spirt this can be a saviour for them.

Both are great pianists, but this young boy will never forget this moment. Way to invest in the younger generation. Kudos to the older young man!
