I think it starts by us repairing the family (mother and father) acknowledging and giving attention to morals, hard-work, financial literacy and shaming and punishing dysfunctional behaviour by making it not cool. This can be done with us men making a collective effort to change our narrative by agreeing on how our behaviour will be going forward.

I feel it starts at home by being an involved and present "Parent". The word of God says "Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it. (Proverbs 22:6) It takes involved work has his parents did. The results are being seen.

There are plenty of young men like this. Mature and serious about life because they grew up from parents who were mature and serious. However there’s always going to be plenty of parents who are the opposite. It’s always going to start with the parents

You start when he’s 8 so when he’s 18 the habit of work and success is built in for a decade. My barber wanted to know how my son was so much further ahead than her son when they both graduated in 2022? I said to her “I started 18 months before he graduated. You started 18 months after he graduated.” See my point?

My oldest granddaughter graduated from Howard University in 2023. Guess what? She does nails for a living (making her coins) and doing nothing with her degree. Going to college is not everything. You have people who go to college and get Law Degrees and stop being Lawyers and doing youtube videos or doing other things (making their coins).

Tech is really hit or miss . I’ve spoken to many folks that says it’s not that simple , sometime you get a contract for certain Time and after that contract expires , you might wait awhile to get another contract . I have a guy went to college graduated with IT and than he was waiting too long for contract after it expired, he had to go to nursing and never looked back
