Once again, you did an amazing reviewof one of my favorite Motu charakters: He-Ro. Since I got the Classics version in 2009, I absolutley love He-Ro. Today I went to a Motu convention in Hanau, Germany and I was abloe to buy 4 Masterverse figures: He-Ro, Faker, King Grayskull and Beast Man. I love your videos. Absolutley!

Not bad. Better than I expected.

Mattel probably was like: they must already have a couple of power swords already, it will be fine if se don't include one with He Ro 😂 but seriously I really like his Masterverse figure, hope I can get him soon! Nice review!!

Such a curious blunder! As with any printed media there had to be more than one set of eyes reviewing that packaging. I wonder if Mattel is stil unaware. Thank you for another informative review!

It seems they are aware. I went back and looked at the packaging that was revealed to the fans by Mattel Art Director & Graphic Designer Roy Juarez a couple of months ago, and the wording on the bio had been corrected. So it would seem someone caught it after the packaging went into production. I'm glad you liked the video and thanks for the comment!

Eh... I'm good with the typo. Also, He-Ro was originally created to be He-Man's kid and his successor in the aborted "Powers Of Grayskull" line that was torpedoed by the 1987 live-action film under-performing at the box-office. So yeah... his backstory doesn't matter. All that matters is he's part of my collection now and I love him to bits. I even have his papa King Grayskull! ^w^ As for his lack of The Sword Of He... easily remedied. Take a spare Power Sword from one of the other Masterverse figures- Skelegod, Savage He-Man, Faker, "New Eternia" Battle Armor He-Man, take your pick. Throw on a white undercoat (use your favorite mini-paints- I go with Citadel and The Army Painter) and slap on a transluscent blue- I'd go with Frostheart, recently added to the Citadel Contrasts range. Hey-presto, you've got The Sword Of He. I need to get a Savage He-Man for a kit-bashing project any old how... that and he comes with Orko. >w> For now, I have the Dark Half of the Power Sword that came with King Grayskull in He-Ro's hand as a placeholder... Grayskull himself is armed with his shield and the Power Sword's Light Half. The one that, according to the lore, he started out with before making the Dark Half out of ore from Subternia (thanks, Scare Glow, you old ghosty you) and then commissioning the Trollan mage-smiths to combine them into the Sword Of Power we know today.

I almost choked on my pretzel when you brought up Grey Poupon 🤣

Yep, this figure is pretty cool. I hope Masterverse continues the Preternian heroes with Vikor, Wun-Dar and Kudok Ungol. It would be nice to be able to display them together. Regarding replacing the cape, is it because you rather it be longer?

We either need all the champions from revelation in origins or masterverse! Or what the hell how about both.

Mine just hit my Pile of Loot with some other MOTU figures from BBTS and cant wait to get him. Kinda tempted to get a translucent 3D printed sword of power to put in his hand similar to a classics one and I too will be painting his armor in a more shiny gold color but overall he looks great and its a bummer about the bio cause I save all the card backs for the art and story.

I've seen some of those translucent swords in the secondary market. They are pretty sweet! I would love to see your figure once it's repainted. I wonder if I may be tempted to follow suit depending how it comes out. Yeah, it certainly is a bummer regarding the bio. It would be easier to understand an editor missing such a mistake in a longer text, but in this brief write-up it's pretty surprising.

If you have issues before even opening the toy, it’s you, not the toy. Lol.
