Absolutely. These 2 men are talking jazz...lol. Besides there's no saying he will 'see' all those things in you at the time of the rejection even if you behaved admirably. If it's done then let it be done. I do agree though that if he realizes his 'mistake' he needs to work harder. But that is no guarantee. People are people and will do what they want.

If a man rejects you, tell him ok and let him go. I swear having self respect is the best thing. I laughed at the last man who told me it couldn't work. I told him I thought he wanted to tell me that he had cancer or had lost a friend. I quickly moved on to speak about a then political situation happening in his country. His bafflement was amusing. He has never stopped chasing me since then but I have moved on. Once you leave, you die to me as my self worth will not allow me to want someone who doesn't want me! 😊

Today I confessed him, I feel little broken, but at the same time really really relieved . He rejected me politely with compassion. But look on brighter side, I stopped that guessing game , checking on internet the signs guys like you. The pain of rejection will go away in few days, months ... but what really matters is I'm done with games. There's also peace with pain in rejection once you accept.💓

I think it is not for them but for your own sanity. You anyway have nothing more to lose at that point when he rejects you. So just let everything out one last time, they will never hear from you again anyway, those will be your last words so to speak. This way you don’t hold regrets and grudges, everything is said and ended. It is easier to let go this way.

my experience taught me that my cptsd made this experience worse for me I was never comfortable about sharing my deep hurt as I could sense he looked down upon me ....and I talked to understand that I had issues and shouldn't have opened up to him about my feelings for him, did not have a father figure growing up so I wanted him to fill the emotional void but that is too selfish and silly thing to expect from almost a stranger ... I just want to say that if you are struggling with mental health issues please take your steps very carefully and seek medical help whenever required Because the one you like might not necessarily understand what you have bee. Through and support and help you .... Always choose yourself ...

I asked this guy i liked alot out because I couldn't stand holding it in anymore, he told me he was too busy, i took it as rejection so i refuse to acknowledge him when seeing him, he noticed and he tried explaining why he rejected me saying he is too busy, and later telling me he goes out on the weekends so when i put the pieces together, i realized it was rejection and I thinks he knows i see it that way. He looks at me alot and passes me alot (obviously trying to get my attention) but i still refuse to acknowledge him. If he actually does come up and talk to me, he tries being helpful and i accept it but he tries asking really personal questions like my age and exactly where I live (i told him the city and where i live by but he wanted to know more) i didnt respond to that and age question because I think it crossing boundaries for an acquaintance. What baffles me is why this guy cares so much about me ignoring him when he should feel relieved.

Trust me, there are many videos on that. More often than not, women are mostly are in the driver's seat anyway when it comes to dating and rejection. Not saying they don't experience the same thing. They do. Its just that men are expected to make the first move. As a man, I can say that most of us don't have the luxury of waiting around for someone to ask us out. If we want something to happen, we have to take the initiative.

Keep a dignified silence. I was rejected recently so I just said "thank you for being honest" and then silence.

That is hard. I feel that you were saved from a very unhappy marriage. He obviously did not see your uniqueness and beauty. Like you said it sounds like he was looking for a doll to dress and not real inner beauty. The man which you marry should feel like a best friend for you! Somebody who you would never run out of topics to talk to and who would get you! I think that you were saved. I had a similar experience with my past boyfriend. He rejected me but got together (soon after we broke up) with a girl who looked like me , studied the same things than me and had the same hobbies. That HURT! They do, every freaking time. I've been rejected by guys I like about 5 or 6 times and they always end up back when you already moved on. I just tell them I'm seeing someone wonderful and that I'm happy and then wish them well. They probably then regret letting you go or feel dumb for reaching out. Most of the time they only come back for their own ego

Somebody I met brought me closer to him and made me say it that I like him as in he very well knew the kind of feelings that I had for him. After knowing, he told me that he would take a day to decide and figure out if it's a Yes or No from him and then, he rejected me saying that I am too old for him and we can only remain as good friends. I am the kind of person who won't take an initiative and he made me do it only to make fun of it I guess. Being a divorcee going through mental stress already, this incident has shattered me and brought me back to a breaking point where I am having an inferior complex which is way too difficult to overcome.

This video is very interesting. I am really raw and vulnerable with the man I’m interested in, but he has told me several times that he cannot give me what I want. It took me a little while but I’ve accepted his stance and realized that at the end of the day as much as I love him that I never want him to feel like there’s any pressure. I told him this and he was thankful for what I said. I don’t know what the future holds, but I didn’t want to lose my friend. I know I’m a great woman, and I know what I deserve. I know that no matter what the future holds, I’ll be okay. It’s sad at times, but I see the bigger picture. ❤
