We get paid less in the U.K. but I’ve been working in the tech sector for the past 31 years - and I have been able to earn as much as £1100-$1370 per day doing contract work…the real beautiful thing about the tech sector (specifically developing) is that you can work from anywhere - and can also make money really easily with your own projects.

I've been in the Tech field since the 90s and fully remote since covid. Before covid i was down to 2 days in the office. I would only advise people to get into the field if you truly enjoy technology, troubleshooting and off hours and sometimes even holiday work isn't a problem for you. People who only get into it for the money end up running for the hills. But yes it's a very lucrative field.

If you are unsure about this, research the company and research what they do and the costs. I think Anthony is not correct when he said if you are not sure then don't bother. You have no way of knowing until you have a chance to find out. If he is going to be that prejudicial, then, maybe he is not the right one for you to follow. I don't know if this program is good or not. It sounds good. But you have to find out for yourself. You cannot know until you know.

He’s not just an exception to the rule because of his 10 years experience; he’s an exception specifically because he’s a WHITE AMERICAN MAN (the highest earning demographic in the US). As a black man, 50-something years old, with an advanced degree, multiple industry certifications, and almost (THIRTY) years experience in IT with organizations ranging in size from from small (8-9) to Fortune 100s (multiple), I barely earn more than this guy. My experience is NOT unique. Brothers and sisters’ experience will be different. Drastically! Race matters…..it just does.

I love AO’s channel and the value he brings. However before his followers run out with rose-colored glasses expecting the same results as this guy some level setting is needed. I’m guessing a large % of his followers are black (more accurately, non-white). Why do I bring that up. Because the same disparities in wage that exists in America in general also exists in technology. His guest is a white man who got into IT through ITT and the Help Desk earning six figures only four years in. Not only is that an atypical outcome in IT, that’s even an atypical outcome for white men in IT, who are the highest earners in the country. I’m a black male, 50s, with an undergraduate computer science degree and masters degree, many industry certifications, almost 30 years experience, have worked for both small companies and Fortune 100 firms, have NEVER been fired in my career, and earn probably about the same as this guy. And I know of MANY like myself who earn the same or less. So before you take the plunge into whatever this program is, please take into consideration WHAT you in addition to what you know. It WILL make a difference into what you’ll be offered and what you’ll earn. Another option is to incorporate yourself, do 1099s or work more than one job (if your schedule/workload allows - but that’s not sustainable long term). At any rate, don’t jump into this field with rose-colored glasses on expecting the same results as this guy. Especially if you’re one of “us”. You’ll likely be HIGHLY disappointed. 😐😐😐
