Actually, he shouldn't be playing in the tournament because he basically committed fraud for a vaccine exemption. He forged his papers with the help of some dodgy Serbian labs because his best chance of not requiring a vaccine was to pretend to have had a past infection. There are videos of him partying showing no signs of symptoms and meeting fans when he says he was infected. He also met kids. We know his papers were forged because there were irregularities in the dates of his tests and the test numbers, even the QR code on the test results didn't link to a negative result.

@@dorianshadesofgray2981 You're absolutely correct from the perspective of a Westerner -- I pressume? Novak comes from an old distinguished Serbian family dating back to the time of Medieval Serbia (Wikipedia) and he was always aware of that. His customs and religion are important to him, and that rests on his integrity and general comportment. He is far wiser than his years. When he is booed in the West he is simultaneously praised in the East, thanks to today's state-of-the-art technology. He still continues to joke and that endears him in the East. When he became the World Number 1, the fans in the East and some fans in the West were shocked at the disrespect he received in the English-speaking countries (particularly Australia and America) over the issue of vaccination. The West in the last couple of years came to understand that Novak sticks to his guns and that to them now commands respect. The World is not polarized (never has been and never will be) when it comes to sports or anything else. Whenever the word "world" is used by the media I always ask: Is it the Western or the Eastern world. Surely it cannot be both?

Since when does a "role model" commit fraud with the help of a few dodgy Serbian labs? He forged a positive Covid test result and faked an infected with Covid (at a time he was partying and meeting fans) because that was his best chance of getting a vaccine exemption. He was even willing to fake having been a risk to others during this period, just to make his claims of infection appear credible, as opposed to admitting his papers were fake. You people are all lunatics.

@@fredgarvinMP Sorry how's any of this nonsense relevant to Novak's veritable fraud and false statements to Aussie immigration and world media? Did you just assume the evidence comes from "authorities" when you don't want to accept the conclusions? Silly me, the journalists that exposed the bizarre inaccuracies (greater test numbers given to earlier tests, QR code linking to a negative result) in Novak's story and paperwork were all working for WHO. Before you critique something, try to understand it

  • @hasibhakanovic6682

@@fredgarvinMP The good thing about relying on evidence instead than other people's speculation is you don't have to worry about being wrong. Novak got a couple of dodgy Serbian labs to forge a positive test result so he could pass vaccine requirement in Australia. Problem test covered dates that he was seen out in public, so he needed to lie about being infected (and potentially infecting others, including kids) rather than to fraud with the help of Serb government. Numerically it was impossible for the test to have been done on the date he said it was, as the test number was significantly higher than tests in the same period. When Novak gave a bizarre account of what happened he was detained by Aussie authorities, instead of accepting any kind of responsibility, he and Serb gov hysterically tried to make a big diplomatic issue. Call him a good athlete, but he's an !@# and not a role model.
