Being a famous actor isn't all that it is cracked up to be. My wife was born into a family of several famous actors/directors. She even was in 10 films herself as an actress with her first film being directed by her award-winning actor/director father. She decided she didn't like having her life under the microscope of others so she basically quit acting (she will take a role as a favor to a friend and that's it), and she and I live far away from that Hollywood life with our young triplet daughters. It's kind of nice and funny in that the media has no idea my "wife" is dating anyone, let alone actually married with kids LOL. We love it. When we do go back to Cali to visit her siblings and father and the media and/or paparazzi sees us, they just think that she is being escorted by a personal bodyguard since I am 6'7" 265 lbs and I work out 7 days a week so they don't realize I am her husband lol. We live a very quiet life in a small Northern Minnesota town that only gets complicated when her father comes to visit one of his 4-6 times a year. In our small town we are just .... us. When her dad comes to visit, we are housing the biggest badass movie cop and cowboy of the last 50 years and then they remember that my wife is someone kind of famous if not in her own right, for the fact her father and siblings are LOL. We won't even discuss when her "Uncle OJ" (not a real blood relative), came to visit ten years after his whole trial debacle. And NO, I didn't ask him if he did it LOL. All he ever said about it was that "Love" can make your mind crazy and you are not able to think straight or rationally sometimes. He didn't stay with us and instead stayed at a local Golf Course/Hotel.

Me, too. I had the role of Prospero in Shakespeare’s “The Tempest” and that included an 80-line monologue. I did it perfectly as the “one night guy” and the director (our English teacher) told the other guy in front of everyone that “he could learn a thing or two from him.” That felt awesome. The other guy had got up there and faked the entire monologue because he either couldn’t or wouldn’t memorize it. I thought it was hilarious and nobody else seemed to notice since he just made up shit about butterflies and elflings or whatever off the top of his head. My brother and I aren’t twins, but this guy, who had it in for my brother, insisted I was him. What he didn’t know was that I had studied judo for about a year, and I wrestled him to the ground with no effort. He and his friends left, and the funniest part is that at school, the teachers thought it was my brother who fought him because everyone named my brother, not me. Our parents were called, and our mother grounded him when he came home, lol. I never told them it was me, double whammy.

I have a pair of younger cousins who are twins. When I was an early teen, they had hit their mischievous phase and frequently would pull the switch on me, but it never worked. Not because I was their family and could naturally recognize their behaviors, but because they weren't even identical twins. These two idiots seriously thought I wouldn't notice when one twin suddenly gained two inches in height and then magically lost it again by dinner.
The teacher, 100% knew, but they figured out how much work they have to put into prove it
My twin Betsy and I are 4 min apart as well. We worked each other’s shifts, took each other’s tests and made family reunions a chaotic affair for our entire first 25 years. Once I got pregnant and developed an illness we began to look more like Ashton and his brother. We’re both 50 now and people know we’re sisters but are astonished we’re identical twins. My sister (twin) was not particularly good at school or test taking. I had taken ap english and passed therefore in college I didn’t have to take English. But my sister who was a stoner and rebel in high school had to take a placement exam for jr college cause she took fundamentals english- she did so poorly on the test she was placed in college into English as a second language. This meant not only was she going to have to take a class that was meant for non native speakers ( she was born and raised in nh/mass/ca)…. But that she could also not take any classes that required a minimum english proficiency- which I imagine she would have to pass those as well. So she rescheduled the exam and with her id in hand I retook the exam purposefully trying not to score exceedingly well for fear that it would be entirely too obvious. I got her placed in college prep english. Then when she got a dui she carried my license with her for years, luckily she never had to use it and never got a ticket. And once in the eighth grade we switched my dance class for home economics on April fools day. From time to time her husband would accidentally mistake me for her when I was visited and realize mid leaning in to kiss Me- he had mistaken one for the other. I don’t think I ever got to use it to my advantage though. Abs died when she was 41 in a bicycle accident in sb- rip :)

😂 identical twins can be really good con artists if they wanted to. My little brothers are identical twins and the teachers were always watching out for them to switch classes because there were another pair of twins that was causing trouble at school. Once, one of the twins got dragged by the ear into the classroom because the teacher thought he was ignoring her when the recess ended only to find out that she had been shouting abuses to the wrong twin while the right twin was already sitting on his chair. My 8 yrs old little brothers bawled their eyes out and my mother was ready to take the teacher to court for child abuse. My brothers never tried to switch places ever since. I think if they didn't get traumatized by that teacher, they would be using their twin tricks a lot.
