Absolutely true, he showed so many sides to a supposed stoic ruler, in love and experiencing loss for the first time. His raw crying was hard to watch, so realistic. 😢

White hair man also good from season1 to season2. White hair man put little princess or red fox to be Queen in place at the end season1 also send gift too. Season2 White man main lead and good end with red fox and son too

This performance is what cemented Lian Song to my heart. Knowing everything your nephew went through in wanting his wife back, you don't let him carelessly throw away his life. You reminded him of their son together and how he wouldn't rest in peace if Ah-Li ended up with a fake SuSu or Su Jin. I wholeheartedly believe Su Jin would have found a way to kill Ah-Li without Ye Hua around as "revenge" for his mother stealing Ye Hua away from her. Luckily, Lian Song talks Ye Hua out from using his soul to light the lamp.

Ye Hua has such depth as an actor. His sorrow is our sorrow.

Great performance by Mark Chao. His grief and crying was so raw...

Marc Chao is very good actor, he can control his emotions when he was sad, happy even cry very good Love Ye hwa ( Marc chao )😍 😍

Lian Song is one of my fav character. He was the only elder yehua can depends on. He lead him into the right path way better than the parents did. Even donghua somehow depends on him when it comes to his love life

This part was so sad because when he said that he has nothing else related to susu left to burn. I thought of Ali. He was so desperate but he was not gonna hurt Ali. He’s willing to sacrifice even himself, but not ali.

The reason 😂 the lamp went out was because Feng Jiu took it to help her Aunt in reviving Moyuan. Ye Hua is enraged but he couldnt do anything because Dong Hua is protecting Feng Jiu 😂 at this point he didnt know Susu is actually Bai qian hahahah

Eso se merece y más, mucho amor pero fue quien más la hizo sufrir.

It just seems to me that the women in these dramas, even goddesses, get the worst luck and heavenly trials. They go thru hell and back. Ye Hua was in a difficult situation but that still doesn't excuse the humiliation, torture, bullying, and degradation that Su Su went through. If the roles had been reversed she would have burned the heavens down to save him. This is his love trial to bear witness to his inexcusable treatment and allowance of that horrible treatment to Su Su. To lose the 1 person in your life you truly care about because of your actions and inaction. Being emperor means little now. Gramps can kick rocks. Who was going to replace him? Maybe 3rd Uncle? I honestly want to feel bad for hm but I just can't. I'm on Team Su Su for this horror story. A Li should have been raised by his mother's family. They seem to get what family is all about, they are well established, loving, and can raise a kid without scarring him. I wouldn't give the Emperor a gold fish to raise, not even a Swedish Fish. If you have no love in your heart for your family or subjects, how can you effectively rule?

I really couldn't tell which one if them was hurt most there was alot of pain to go around. What tipped the scale was him taking her eyes when he knew she wasn't guilty real rough maybe he should've let her go before that happened but then maybe she wouldn't have overcome the trial. Maybe if Yehua had created a scene with Feng Jiu he would've met Qian Qian sooner but the lines we got at the crystal Palace never would've happened nope we cant have that

They changed scene in the drama a bit. In the novel he did NOT believe her. She tried to tell her side of the story only to be told off. Ye Hua told her he saw her pushing Sujin down. And saw her explanation as an excuse. And he took her eyes out to "balance" her karma for her crime against an Immortal.
