Enjoying your reaction! Ronnie’s voice is incredible and brings the lyrics forward in the reimagined version. Someone said on another channel that the Papa Roach’s original was the angst of youth , this version is more for adults. I loved the original PR version- it was hyped, but this version made me emotional 😢❤️‍🔥

I've seen it said on other reactors' pages that PA's original stoked an anger in us to keep going, it was our youth anthem. Now, it's the anthem of those same people that have grown up, and the desperation and pain we feel now. This song blew me away, I had no idea. I remember singing the song in high school, way back then, and it just being noise and sound and energy. We all knew the words, but no one sat down and listening to them, not really. FIR and Ronnie have made me remember, and to understand.

This connects with Watch the World Burn also. The rebuilding and reverse fires in last resort at the end were the same explosions and destruction at the end of Watch the World Burn and I haven't seen too many people pick up on that.

I 1000% agree with your analysis of this song. The lyrics in the original version were just throw away lyrics that didn't seem to matter, but now in the this version are given all the power they deserve

Ronnie blacked out all of his tattoos. And to be honest, i love this style on him! And, he made this song a masterpiece! Loves what Ronnie did with this, far more better than the original for me.

You have no one to convince bro, this arrangement DEFINITELY brings out ALL the emotion in the lyrics. It's almost a shame that arrangement has to be mentioned in the same breath as the original, bc it's really a new song now.

This is only my thoughts on why I think Ronnie would of covered up all of his older tattoos and t reckon he wanted to delete images that reminded him of times he now would prefer not to be reminded of ..or he just loves millions of little inky pricks in his skin 🙂

I feel you. I definitely like this version better than the original by Papa Roach, I didn't like the sound of the song before or didn't like Papa Roach . This song definitely hits different the way that Ronnie reimagines it. ❤

I loved the original song and still think Ronnie's version is SO much better. Papa Roach is the angry teen and Ronnie is the broken adult.

Yes, after listening to the original I get what you mean about "Frat boy" (Slims) Music it's kinda like all the Linkin park , limp Biskit type that I wouldn't of cared about but I love Ronnies magic in it.

no need to bash the original that came out over 20 years ago. people can like one or the other or both. Not to mention the original may also hold a special place in the hearts of the people it helped cope with depression and suicide thoughts. we are different people that like different things. It's childish to think we all agree and connect to the same things.

@@andrewvalov1298 again... it's all about preferences and what kind of music you connect to. You like the reimagined version, cool, it's an awesome take on the song. Other people will still like the old version. Also cool, it's an iconic song. Quality difference, sure. I imagine there is quite a lot of improvement in quality in audio-visual in the past 23 years. Words like "superiority" is what annoys me in your comment :)) It can be a superior version to you, and that's great. But why do you need to make a blanket statement about everyone else who may not share your opinion, calling them kids and saying they can't grow up? It's music. It's subjective. End of story.
