His background and what he has went through is exceptional. God has his hands on him. I would like to meet with him one of these days.

I am so proud of you Jackson. I shared your perspective. I am a Liberian nurse practicing in the US and planning to move back to Liberia and do the same for my ppl. Thank you for inspiring me. Only we African can make the change we want in Africa. It’s time to ask what can I do for my country/ Africa instead of “what Africa has for you.” There’s a lot in Africa; but the western mentality has blinded so many Africans and only few of us can see the greatness Africa has. This is truly inspiring. I’m from Namibia 🇳🇦 currently based in the Uk. I’m returning in December and I’m going to impact my country as well. I can’t wait to touch down in my mother country and start few projects that can empower my community and family members. Afterwards I want to travel Africa. I can’t believe that my continent has many beautiful beaches and lodges that I haven’t seen. I would like to see Burundi 🇧🇮 just to meet Jackson to shake his hand that he is truly our African hero. He turned the most horrific place in his memory into a place of healing - what a phenomenal human being 🙏🏽 ❤ Jackson's mindset is what all leaders should aspire to achieve. How many other African children would achieve great things if just given the chance.

At 37 years, you have motivated me n proud of your achievements n many more to come. Your farm is beautiful with different crops ,feeding the nation n the hospital is such a wonderful blessing to your country. Creation of jobs. Congratulations.

What I like most of our young people they are really eager to change things in the motherland even when they go abroad they still love our continent

Funny enough, I saw him on ksm show today giving examples of the impact his work is making across Africa, and I thought: the impact stories themselves need documenting.

Jackson is kinda like Joseph in the bible. Due to A tragic situation in his home country he ends up in a far away land. He thought that all his family members were dead, they also probably believed that he was dead. He grows up in Canada later finds out they're alive visits them and slowly starts to get over the disdain he had for his country because of what he went through. He returns and becomes a farmer, built a hospital, create jobs, feed his people. In a place where there was once death and violence he's creating life. 🙏

Jackson story is so humbling. A mixture of fate and exceptional personality. He is Burundi own example of how exceptional love for our people can push us. Having gone through such trauma as a little kid, i am happy he could find some peace and even turn his story around enough to inspire many. His experience is tougher than many 80years old can even fathom yet he is a shining star from the east of Africa!

We need more of this mentality in Africa so that those who think we won't survive without them will start to respect us and treat us as equal partners when we negotiate business matters. I was so inspired as always thank you again Wode Maya for this interview.

He won't. He doesn't like publicity Peaple always beg him to be put in Public. He sends young people either to South Africa or elsewhere for training nd return to work for his projects. He doesn't mention it.

Jackson's story should be adapted to a movie. His life is so inspirational and painful as the same time but he made it. He surrounded his fears and wounds to turn them to a beautiful impact for the many people where he experienced war at the worse level for a kid.
