No prosecutor thinks someone's a criminal for using their right to silence, they think they're an idiot if they don't. If anything it makes them look guilty that they TRY to talk their way out of it rather than calling their bluff and saying "you got nothing, if I shut up then you'll have to let me go"

Someone needs to get out of their fantasy land. Prosecutors aren’t allowed to do something, doesn’t mean they don’t think or believe it. The Rittenhouse prosecutor actually tried to make that point in front of the jury before the judge decimated him. Get a clue and join the real world.

  • @Treblaine

@@ladyphoenixgrey3923 They don't think they're guilty AT ALL, just as a lawyer can defend someone who they knew did it a prosecutor can prosecute someone they know did no wrong. It a bad faith argument to prove what they don't really believe. The proof of this is how the same prosecutors advise all their loved ones to remain silent under questioning and don't accept arguments against them that silence proves anything other than being sensible.

Having cable channels there are WE, SUNDANCE, and BBCAmerica that run L&O episodes all different days and hours. I haven’t seen the early seasons with Ben Stone in forever. I’ll watch some of those and have no memory of who the guilty person is. So those are fun; like new shows except they’re dated. But my favorite episodes, some of which I watch many times, are the ones Season 10-14. Jerry Orbach and Jesse L. Martin were perfection as partners!! Oh, I watch Lennie and Ed with their other partners, but those 5 seasons are my favorites. Catching certain seasons and episodes are kind of a convoluted mish mash. But until some company streams all the seasons that’s where we are.

Another influence may be the disappearance of Sneha Anne Philip. She and her husband lived in Battery Park. The last confirmed sighting of her was shortly after 6:00 p.m. on September 10th on security camera footage at a department store. There is some evidence wish you may have returned to the apartment the next morning and the official theory is that, as a physician, she went to the WTC to assist victims and died in the collapse but there does remain debate about it that continued on for years after this episode even aired.
