Not canon. That was filler. If this were the Manga it would’ve cut Cell’s head off. This attack never failed in the manga it just always missed. Akira designed this move to be unstoppable regardless of power levels

The squeaky toy sound effect is a very TFS thing. Each failed strike could've almost been a +1 "Krillin pwned" score...almost...

Krillin letting 18 live wasn't the worst decision. Especially she isn't a threat. If Goku hasn't given Cell a Senzu Bean, Cell would have blown up the planet once he got desperate. Vegeta was the only one who made terrible decisions especially since he didn't learn since his fight with Frieza and 18.

@@uchihashuji3449 It’s not that 18 was a threat. Cell couldn’t have reached his perfect form if Krillin just pushed a button is the annoying thing. Goku’s reason for giving cell a senzu wasn’t because he thought cell would blow himself up. His reason as he stated was to make it a fair fight. I love the Androids saga but it felt like they were deliberately making their jobs harder than it needed to be.

​@@MrWinMrWin-qr2bn The entire Android/Cell Saga was meant to explore the heroes flaws. If Goku didn't spare Gero way back when the Androids and Cell wouldn't exist. If he had finished the job on Namek and not fucked around Friezas cells would've never been on Earth for the Drone to collect and Cell wouldn't be as strong. Vegeta has his pride and arrogance issues. Trunks is inexperienced and rushes training. Missing obvious flaws in new techniques. Gohans has to overcome his pacifism etc etc

Cell is like me whenever a pesky fly is flying near me: i ignore it at first, but then it gets too annoying so i just kill it with a smug on my face 😂

to be fair the disc shouldve done something. the disc is made to harm foes that are more powerful than the user. im not saying it shouldve worked but it shouldve left a scratch

The Destructo Disc is supposed to cut through EVERYTHING. This scene is filler and contradicts that, not that Cell would die from being beheaded anyway

Id say that Cell achieving this form is Goku's fault, first and foremost. After all, he let Trunks and Vegeta to get into the time chamber first. If Goku had gone first, he could've killed Cell's 2nd form easily... who am I kidding, Goku would have also helped Cell achieve Perfect form too lol

It's 100% Goku's fault for not killing Dr. Gero. If he did, the Androids and Cell wouldn't exist. And again for not just finishing Frieza immediately on Namek. His DNA wouldn't be on Earth for Geros drone to collect and Cell wouldn't be as strong as he was.

@@OrbitZombie I do agree, Goku's stupid kind personality has cost him hard quite a few times. If Trunks wasn't there, Frieza would've destroyed Earth too lol But I'd say, even without Frieza's DNA, what made Cell SUPER OP was the Saiyan DNA, and Namekian DNA. If it wasn't for Saiyan DNA, he wouldn't have had innate latent power, and without Namekian(Piccolo in this case) DNA, Cell would have never been able to even reach perfect form, since his tail was cut off more than once. But I think TFS brought up a great point lol since Trunks told them about Gero and the androids, all they had to do was gather the Dragonballs, get the location of the lab, and destroy it. Either way, DBZ, as stupid as a lot of the plot holes were, still had awesome fights lol
