The issue with Pete Rock is he needs to hit up Columbia/Sony records for his money not Nas directly. That's why Nas is like wtf! Especially when you consider Illmatic was Nas's first album. You think Nas had control or decision making ability on who got payed what!

The Actual GOAT
The GOAT man, period. The fact that he's still dropping albums THIS high quality one after another at almost 50 years old is amazing. KD3 is a classic in my opinion. I can't stop listening to this album man.
444 was cool but it can’t mess with KD3. After this, I just hope Nas doesn’t stop. I’d like a Magic 2, but a joint with all-Star production would be cool too. 2 or 3 tracks each by Hitboy, Alchemist, Preemo, and Havoc or 9th Wonder. That would be cool too. Like he said, enjoy it because he doesn’t usually drop this often. Salute to the GOAT in my lifetime.

I swear I saw your reaction to the second half of Michael and Quincy and it reminded me of losing it the same way when I heard it that night. That is THE beat switch of 2022 for me. Also Nas was in a whole different galaxy with some of those rhymes. "Annie are you ok watchin' me transformin'?" (The obvious Smooth Criminal callout but also Ann Jones, his late mother while also equating his current run to a transformation akin to another MJ classic moment with the whole transforming in the Moonwalker video episodes.)

I love Stillmatic and can’t wait for you to review it!! Depending on my mood, it’s my favorite Nas album. Him and Micheal Jackson are like that for me. They have so many stellar albums, I rotate which are my favorites
Hip-Hop is the same as any other genre of music. Rolling Stones still performing. Our people are the only ones that think you lose skills when you get older. Listen to The World is Mind by KRS-1. That's a man been rapping since '85, that album came out in 2020.
Great reaction! But one song was missing. "First Time" it comes on after after "get light". It's 17 tracks total.
Since you skipped "First Time" you should post a short meme of your first time hearing Nas to his page lol salute n appreciate the video. God bless Everyone out there🙏🙏
All these new rappers and even rappers that have been in the game for 10+ should look at Nas's career and strive to have a career like this! His longevity is unmatched and to still be this "relevant" is unheard. The fact he gets so over looked is ridiculous! Nas's catalog is one of the best ever! Nas and Hit Boy have been in their bag, this has got to be Album of the Year! Nas = GOAT!
Nas is one of the few artists who has had 3 prime peaks in his career. His illmatic peak from 94-97. His stillmatic peak from 2001-2004. And now is KD peak from 2020-2022

Track 2 Legit heavily samples a scene from the movie the five heartbeats which is a classic movie!! You should really check it out if you haven't seen it. Anyway congrats on another dope reaction!
I think Thun might be the most perfectly constructed rap song i’ve ever heard, from production all the way through to the construction, flow, context, depth and finally, delivery.
LEGIT is sampled from the movie THE FIVE HEARTBEATS
PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR NEXT NAS POSTER IS BIGGER! Its been killing me that its so small next to the other way bigger ones. It looks out of place but I still love it tho
KD3 was the best out of the KD Trilogy! If Magic would've been longer I would've ranked Magic higher than all KD albums. For me, KD3 is top 5 NAS album of all time so far. And I think KD3 shouldve been album of the year. I hope you react to Stillmatic next! Correction** You said you are reacting to Stillmatic next...I hope you react to "God's Son" after that and then KD1. If you like Reggae I suggest "Distant Relatives" it is a combo album with Nas and Damian Marley!!

Pete Rock's issue shouldn't have never been with blaming Nas . Pete's beef is with Nas' former label and Pete's own lawyer then for not making sure the business was correct . Nas was just the 19 yr. old new artist, not a record exec .
