HDZero vs Analog @ 200mW around a bando - Which is better for penetration and breakup?

Here's a short comparison of how both my quads, one with HDZero digital video, and the other with analog, both set at 200mW, cope around a bando side-by-side.
I've recorded a voiceover which describes the exact equipment and what's going on.

@2:10 that is the moment people need to see when they say, "Shark Byte is no better than analog." Sheesh. Very very clear there is a ton more resolution in SB. Wish you had spent long enough behind the building on SB to judge how it's going to break up.

@@chrishiggins7475 I agree, it probably was and I wish I'd flown back behind it but wasn't actually testing anything when I was flying this particular day. I will do a similar test when I next can though. It would have been interesting to see how quickly it recovered compared to analog as I think it would have come back quicker. I still think that considering how far away the building was, and I was standing inside another building, lower down and behind a bit of vegetation, it coped extremely well at 200mW.

Great video, I had the same experiences out in the fields with HDZero, I commented that mine on 200mW works even better than analog on several livestreams and got not so friendly answers from some DJI lovers. No doubt it´s clearly better than analog and also range is good!

@@LeRatVisseur Totally. It's less of a dilemma if you don't have either system. I got HDO's a month before DJI dropped their system otherwise my setup could be quite different. I kept a close eye on what was bytefrost at that time, and I'm happy to say when the Sharkbyte system came along (and dropped to the super low price) I jumped right on it so I had quite a cheap entry into the digital world - I wasn't willing to invest in an entirely new system either given I hadn't long invested in my HDO's and a set of custom optics 😅 Absolutely no regrets or complaints though, and the system continues to improve.
