The Airship part made my day, because I had always tried to do a combo jumping on the Bullet Bills and Cannon Balls, but always messed up, and you did it.

The game isn't broken. Most of these glitches are humanly impossible to achieve. Any game can be broken with tools. Hell, there's an entire subset of TAS's where people literally reprogram a game into other games.

20baisju I believe you are pretty idiotic and 101% isn't even a logical percentage. TAS is playing frame by frame and using save states to simulate like a person is playing. Wall jumps happen if Mario has enough speed and jumps exactly where 2 blocks meet, he'll slightly clip inside for one frame. And in that frame, you can jump before Mario gets pushed out, which creates a wall jump. You're not a real gamer at all if you think TAS is hacking..

smw3 did not have the blue mushroom shop in any of my plays. is this only in allstars?

I think it's a matter of taste, but I really dislike nearest-neighbour upscaling which I've seen in almost all HD TASes on here, is this some sort of convention you have? For (S)NES material, I prefer something like hq4x, and in doubt I still prefer Spline16 or Sinc fitting over NN even though it introduces ringing artefacts, still better than the NN pixelfest IMO.

Not to say that these aren't impressive, but he's using many techniques to make it easier, like the TAS program which he can use to slow down the gameplay and play frame by frame.

TAS(tool assisted speed run)is a speed run in which the player can use cheat devices in their run of the game(or glitches)

You can never use cheat devices, Wetflash. You play the game frame by frame and with save states to simulate a perfect human player. But no cheat codes are ever active.
