It just hit me literally a couple of minutes before typing this that I hoped that I could find an actual video of rain falling. I go to sleep with the sound of rain falling every day, and now I'll be able to visually see it and relax.

Many of them are synthesized which is more convenient than going outside to record real rain.

There is something so special about the rain to me. I swear it brings such peace to me (as long as there's no loss of life or property damage),..rain seems to bring peace to my very Soul. I always say extra prayers for the homeless and lost people and animals. To the person or persons who made this video, thank you. And what an excellent job you did.

I just LOVE the sound of rain and the fresh smell of the air during and after.... Love rain, hate storms....as in any kind of severe weather....I just love a really nice rain like this.....Wow...if it is raining this hard in the video at just nine minutes, wherever this was taken at must have had some flooding problems after..... Usually, the rain just trickles off, but this rain is GOING STRONG...........Sounds really cool.... I like to go stand in the side door of the garage outside the kitchen door when it's raining and just feel the raindrops and hear/watch the rain come down this way.....when there isn't any severe storm to worry about..... I just totally enjoy it so much..... I feel like I could almost go outside now and feel rain drops coming down on me.... :-)

Even from my earliest childhood memories, I always loved rainy days. I could sit and stare at the rain and listen to it hit the ground and/or pavement for hours. There must be something therapeutic about it I guess.

I would do the exact same thing. I chose rainy days over sunny days because it was peaceful and fresh. Everything smelled so alive.. so happy. The leaves danced with the rain, the sky painting its own picture for everyone so see. I would take my ratty old blanket and sit in a tree, reading a book.

I also love rain. But in Germany, heavy rain always turns to drizzle after a few minutes. 😢

It's the low pressure and negative ions. Sunny, clear days are high pressure, positive ions. Most people feel better with the former - I certainly do!

Just found this video today and will have to add it to my youtube rain collection. It doesn't rain much in California these days so it's nice to be able to listen to these. Keep up the good work I will have to check out more of your videos.

There are parts of this that don't look like natural rain, and I'd like it if it was stretched out to be longer, but it's still very nice, one of the best rain videos I've found.
