(HD) London bus Observations Part 2 | May - July.
After the success of my first bus observations, here is the second part to it!
We cover quite a lot of ground around London, ranging from my local stop, to Watford General Hospital! A better variety than the previous video.
Once again, I include a set of buses that are not TFL, these are operated by Arriva and First these are route 10 ( Arriva - Woodside - Hollywell Estate), and route 60 (First - Heathrow Terminal 5 - Eton Wick) as these routes are very close to a Travelcard zone station I thought I would include it in this London Bus Observations. Finally before you get to read what routes are included, some night buses are included, the majority around the Victoria area, but there are some in there, the majority at the end of the video.
ROUTES INCLUDED: 38, 7, C10, EL2, 333, 159, 133, 59, 109, 3, P4, 250, 415, 118, 45, 2, 432, 355, 35, 196, 432, (Non TFL) 10, 13, 225, 436, 185, 380, 24, 91, N91, N9, 360, 137, (Non TFL) 60, 120, N44, 148, N136, N2, N73, N16, N38, N11, 264, X26, 154, 22, 19 and 319.
LOCATIONS: Not going to list to every bus stop as that would take up too much space here. Main locations are Victoria and Brixton.
If you look closely, there is two shots that show routes which are on major diversion, and one rare bus on a particular route. The first being route 137 on diversion down Grosvener Road Embankment, this route is normally set to go over Chelsea bride on its normal route, but instead it is seen on the wrong side of the Thames going toward Vauxhall. The next rare sight is on route 159, at Victoria! This was a major diversion becuase of the Gay Pride event in Whitehall! Finally, the rare bus is a Plaxton President on route 22. This is very rare as this route is operated with Volvo Gemini 2's!

Thank you for this! It’s an excellent quality video. My 15 month old son is obsessed with buses! He always shouts “buh!” when he sees one. When he’s having his grumpy moments I show him videos of London buses and it makes him quiet and content. So thank you for providing this entertainment for him. He prefers this to watching Thomas the Tank Engine now!

19:15 never in my life have I seen a 159 going through Victoria - must have been a diversion
Remember watching this when I was 6 got me addicted to buses
this video takes me back to the days when the good ol’ b7tls, dennis tridents and stuff were still running in london, ah the nostalgia

It was good to see the route master back past dulwich library on the old no 12 route to penge with the 176 to Trafalgar route master bus again,

It had an "03" registration, so it wasn't that old at the time: Stagecoach are sending some old "06" Tridents with (East) Anglian registrations into my area at present, and they must be mechanically-o.k. to be appearing on my local bus routes instead of being restricted to depot-runabout work.
Ahhh, they've got those mirror things that people used to use in ancient times :) Using cameras now on my new 'EH' on the 197 route........rain, hail or night, its as clear as daylight! :)

trainrover It still does. Usually the night buses cover a longer route. For example, the 63 and N63. The 63 only goes from Kings Cross to Honor Oak now, but the N63 still goes to Crystal Palace. There are also 24 hour services that don't change at night, for example the 176.

13:20 must have been 4:30-5:00 in the morning because can see a mixture of night and normal buses lmao

Those damn new routemasters need a re-design: grill to the front make them look similar to the older ones. And also conductors. Make them worthy of the name routemaster!
Why does Londen like the double decker? Also funny to see a part of a Dutch company in the UK. . I think it was Abilo of NS(Nederlandse Spoorwegen/The Netherlands Railway)

A double decker offers greater capacity than a single decker and because London is a huge city, they need that capacity. Double Deckers are actually used a lot in the UK and Ireland for that reason. And Arriva is a british company (now owned by Deutche Bahn) and they operate a lot of train and bus services in the Netherlands so the brits also operate in the Netherlands and the Dutch operates in the UK :)

I know that Arriva is in The Netherlands to whit bus and trains. Not much In Rotterdam. In the Uk is NS, but they call them difference, but I forget.

+Wesley Holt Some say they cleared for more people to read...don't know if that true...also it harks back to the traditional roller displays. Sadly though the new ones only display final destination and not any major locations on route.

What a fluke. Here I've been watching London bus videos when this one @ 21:21 reveals the 1st recording of sone motorist playing his car stereo. What floors me is the 1963 doo-wop track 'One Fine Day' by The Chiffons: I'd played that song to death by the time I left London for good several decades ago .. nobody ever listened to that ine or even other songs like it!
