I’ve watched this video several times over the years so I wanted to leave a comment now. It’s quite fascinating to see the branch at a time the Met extension seemed imminent, but it’s a shame the project has been put into the back burner. The housing that was meant to go alongside the extension have now been built, so surely it’s sensible to resume the Croxley Rail Link? Very badly overgrown back in 2013, as I too remember looking from Watford Stadium Halt, but now it’s just as bad in 2023. Good thing that the line was cleared down! Many thanks for this video AL6NT.

For those interested in its history. It started off with East London then passed to Cambridge in 1999 until around 2006 and then went to Ashford since 2007 from my observations. I presumed scrapped now.
