Theres just something so peaceful and majestic about being above the clouds, it always reminds me of how silent it gets when its snowing

These are the coolest pilots Ive ever seen they are way too cool with those jackets

Love that EERIE growl beginning at 2:38 and lasting just a few seconds as the engines spool up! I wonder if that noise is coming from the tail mounted engine up top?

I love the video, I love DC-10, it's my favorite airliner of all times, and I really love the professional crew. However, I have a question about altimeter not set to standard even above 15.000 ft. How come? Could it have to do with high altitude takeoff, maybe? Thanks 👍 Edit: Let me answer to my own question 😀 Transition altitude in Boliovia is 18.000 ft. There you go 😉

Should be interesting to know why they don't use the auto-throttles for takeoff. We used them everytime and they perform flawlessly!

@@konnarbr There is no limitation of altitude for using the AT on the DC10, but may be this is an airline limitation.

TO power was commanded while brakes were engaged so the engines could spool up properly.
