HCL Secretion Physiology

Summary of the ways in which hydrogenation can be generated within the parietal cell for the formation of hydrochloric acid; and types of transportation involved.
- H + K + ATPase pump (gastric proton pump)
- Cl-/HCO3-exchangers: Structure ...
- Ion channels (passive transport)
CONSIDERATIONS:
There are some variations in the literature regarding forms of transport in the proposed system for the synthesis of HCL hydrochloric acid:
- According to "García Sacristán" the chloride leaves the cell by transport facilitated. While according to "Guyton" the chloride leaves the median cell ion channels (the last way is as illustrated in this video).
- According to "Guyton", some chloride enters through passive transport to the cell in the basolateral membrane.
