Ойын-сауық
In this video I traveled to the BBQ Capital of Texas, Lockhart, to compete in the HCCO Hill Country State Championship BBQ Cook-Off. This is one cook-off I do every year and it's always a very well ran event.

Thanks, you too!
Man I was shocked that you guys didn't get a call for brisket and chicken. But a second place ribs is outstanding. Congratulations.

I was shocked we didn’t get a brisket call either. I knew with everything in me it was definitely a top 15 brisket, but I got my ass kicked in brisket. It is what it is, on to the next one.
So much work on the prep for the box. Continued success brother.

Thanks for listening brother
Damnit boy!! Hellava call on them ribs and 4th on breakfast outta 150 teams thats bad ass and the brisket look good as hell 🔥. quick question do you believe putting pepper down first to create a God bark? I personally don't care to create a bark but never hurts to try new ways
@CentralTexasGrilling

Yes, I believe the pepper helps with the bark. In comps it’s needed, but if you want to leave it out when cooking at home you definitely can.

Maaan, after seeing where we landed on brisket and chicken I definitely needed some Vaseline because we got screwed on those calls. It is what it is I guess.
You were totally cooked at the end of the video… a little too much Tito’s huh lol
