HBFS Line Follower - Next Generation of Robots
Training our new generation of robots at RoboManiacs Contest, in April 2018
HBFS Robotics has been constructing some of the fastest line follower robots on the planet in the past four years. Our engineering efforts allowed us to win many national and international competitions.

Can you give material details which are used.
Nice. Fast!!! We did a senior design project just like this but 30 years ago in EE. We did it all analog and it had to follow a track (optical) and then switch to RF and follow a buried wire. Did it on an rv chassis. Neat to see how far (and easy) things have come.

Which sensor you are using? I am using the TCRT5000 IR sensor, but facing difficulty. It did not work over the PVC-printed banner track unless the sensor touch the ground. Could you please suggest me?
Still fast even at 0.25x speed
Wait a minute, did I watch the video at 2x?

I was actually in 2x because earlier video which I was watching was very slow
Good evening guys! good job please share with robot code
It was screaming like: "Aaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh ..." 😂
Can you help me to make a line follower at heigh speed ..
That motor can do more than that😂
Where can I buy such a robot?
Please tell me dimensions of robot

@@Shivam_Mittal_music You're the one who has no common sense. Don't u even know how long 16 seconds is? If the video had been in 2x then the video duration would be 8 seconds. You're the foolest of the fools. Go get yourself admitted into an elementary school
@SuperOpinion8ed

No, you don’t have common sense. The video is 21 sec long and the clock shown at the end is 16 seconds. Unless the clock isn’t accurate, this is 1x speed.
someone smart please explain to me, is this thing using IRs? and is it possible to make it fast with IR or are there any alternative methods? I am new to robotics so sorry for a dumb question

What is the reason of this speed because I supposed to make a simple one just race not maze but it seems slow so how I could increase its speed?

the motor played a crucial rule in the speed, they used aerospace grade BLDC motors for high speed and torque.
Hello guys, how are you? My name is Arthur Rizzi, I'm member of brazilian robotics team named Tamandutech. Team is composed for students of Federal University of ABC. We participate of local Line Follower competitions and now we are going for the robothallenge romania. At the moment we are creating a new robot and I like very much your video and the final result. Can we talk more about the project and create a network to share experiences in the line follower area?
