Not exactly gas powered itself, but there was an entire orchestra set of instruments made out of car parts, and cars are mostly gas powered, so in certain way, it was derivative of gas powered machine.

With engines this small I actually kinda doubt a 4 stroke would be more reliable. 4 strokes are way more complicated so scaling it down you have lots of teeny tiny parts that can fail.

The last combustion powered instrument I knew was a ship's horn in the era of steam powered ships. You just invented something completely new.

The leather jacket, the biker helmet, seatbelt strap, and of course the guitar itself. The most Mad Max/Dieselpunk shit i've ever seen. Seriously well done!

This is probably my favorite so far. Thanks for keeping us up to date on the journey, it was worth the wait.

'My guitar won't start' , is now one of my favorite all time lines!!!

As someone who’s been playing guitar for nearly 15 years, this is one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen. Mattias, from an artistic standpoint, all of the details of the seatbelt, tremolo arm, pull cord, exhaust pipe, Ferrari red, heavy metal style, etc. are just incredible. You outdid yourself. I’d love to play that guitar hahaha.

What I am enjoying about all this is the same thing we saw with Martin Molin (Wintergatan) building marble machines. Basically watching you in real time gradually teach yourself to be a really good engineer. There's something really fun about watching someone develop all these new skills.

The biggest problem is, that an amplifier draws up to 10 times more power when playing loud, than it does with no signal. If there was a way to put a governor on the engine similar to a lawnmower engine, it would work much better. A proper electric generator uses a governor for that very reason. Audio amplifiers are particularly challenging for generators, because of the wildly varying loads placed on them by amplifiers. You can now audition to join any band....Show them this, YOU"RE IN!!!
