The call with Lucifer in ep5 also said "5 months ago" and she mentioned it was about the hotel (may of been the one from ep1) which puts that episode about a month before extermination too.

episode 5 was one month + a day before extermination since it happens the day before the heaven visit. 5 months before would be around about the exact time of last extermination plus or minus a day

Alastor will most likely cash in on the favor that Charlie owes him once she takes the throne as the new ruler of hell. He'll use the favor to have Charlie remove the soul contract on him allowing him to be truly free and use his full power and he plans on being the one who truly pulling all the strings

9:49 I think that the fact Alastor don’t try to make a deal with Charlie for her soul, it’s some manipulative thing also, like: “I am your friend but I need a favor, so we make a deal and all will be good, it’s just a promise” and with this still winning the Charlie’s trust for after try to make another deal but with a most extreme condition, like give him part of her power or help him to break his leash.

My guess is that Alastor will use the favor to become Charlie's right hand when she ascends to Hell's throne. This would make him second only to the Royal Family therefore outranking any sinner, demon noble and even Deadly Sin. In this episode, he has already voiced his desire to form her, making her an investment for him. I don't think he's stupid enough to aim for Hell's throne itself seeing as so far, no demon seems to give a sh*t about who sits there anyways (also, his ascension would likely cause the hellborn nobles and Deadly Sins to revolt, that is if Lucifer wouldn't just erase him for it to begin with, and I'm sure Alastor knows that). Therefore, I think it's more likely he wants to be the man behind the throne, whispering into Charlie's ear pulling everyone's strings, sinners, hellborn and Deadly Sins alike, as the puppeteer in the shadows

Yeah, I think it's not so much about power as it is about control. Primarily, over his own fate. And from what we know about him at the end of this season, he's strongly motivated!

No Demon cares because it seems Lucifer is doing nothing but play with his rubber duckies. Maybe if he took action, maybe more would be concerned.

just a minor note around the 2-minute mark, about it not being clear about the timeline from episodes 1-5, but really only episode 4 is nebulously placed on the timeline: Episode 1 happens 5 days after Charie officially founded the hotel (Alastor notes "Founded 5 days ago by Lucifer's eluuuuusional daughter!"), and roughly 6-7 days after the previous extermination. Episode 2 follows immediately after the news broadcast about the updated Extermination schedule, with Pentious joining that night. Episode 3 occurs a few days to a week after ep2, since Charlie puts up a "Happy First Week, Sir Pentious!" banner and Vaggie notes he tried to destroy the place "a few days ago". Episode 4 has, to my knowledge, no real mention of when it happens. Episode 5 has Charlie note to Lucifer "When you called me 5 months ago" in frustration to him forgetting that she told him about the hotel, placing ep5 at 5 months after ep1. Episode 6 takes place soon after, likely only a few days to a week, depending on how long it took Lucifer to confirm Charlie's meeting with Sera, and Adam notes that the Extermination is 1 month away And here, in Episode 7, it looks like it's only been, I dunno, MAYBE a few hours since Charlie and Vaggie were forced back to hell at the end of ep6

We don't have anything yet on release time for season 2. We only know its confirmed and that recently they started recording voice lines. Now we also got a recent QnA where the voice actor for Alastor hinted at many seasons, he even jokingly said season 8. So its possible we're in for the long haul.

The reason Alistair’s face has stitches when he makes a deal with Charlie is because he’s so used to fake smiling when he’s actually happy and makes a deal with someone. It’s so weird for him and his face ripped apart when he actually smiles. 12:12

Yes.. Steven.. you're right a lot of people will like Carmila a lot more after this episode.. I know I do. I already like her from episode 3 but I really like her now especially with the long hair and the way she were moving. ^^ Also.. Absolutely love Rosie.. she is on the Top 3 character for me. I heard ideas that Angels like Vaggie does get stronger from love, compassion and loyalty.. which is why Vaggie were able to get new wings.

I pretty sure Alastor's design is more based on an elk.

@@ibraahimdureng7482Ehh technically yes however Viv has made thinner connections before so I'm going to assume the deer cannibal man connects to a wendigo design. I think his design is best exemplified at the end of his song with Vox where he takes on the elongated lanky monster form drooling for more suffering.

I know I’m probably overthinking this, but… how exactly does cannibalism work in Hell if demons can respawn? Do cannibals have angelic weapons to ensure they stay dead? Do demons only respawn after their previous body is gone? I need *answers*

If they eat sinners, they have an infinite supply cuz they respawn. But the angels kill sinners permanently and thus create a shortage of food.

Alastor wouldn't have made such a seemingly benign deal if he couldn't really exploit it. He had quite a hell of card to play here not to take advantage of it. Also, he said that he didn't want her soul but we all know he doesn't really tell the truth. I am wondering if he couldn't really take her soul or that if he was afraid to take her soul. Also also, you are right, a blank favor for Alastor is really dangerous even if it doesn't involve hurting someone. I am sure that if Lucifer ever found out he would instantly delete Alastor.
