More facts about this AU: +The horns on Abel’s exorcist helmet are inspired by ram horns. I'm tying it to the whole “was a shepard in life” thing. You could make the case that the other Exorcists have horns for the same reason. They're not trying to look demonic, they're just lambs in a big ol flock. Though their uniform does look metal AF. Because yeah, heavy metal is their genre. +If an exorcist has an X on their helmet, that means something (very high ranking, it's like a badge of honor differentiating them as the best of the best) +Vaggie is still gay but Chaggie is not a thing in this AU as of right now. I do have an idea on how to approach it but I’d have to introduce you to Charlie first to get a better idea of things. In the AU, Vaggie is a stone cold zealot for the cause, which made her climb up the ranks with ease. If anything being gay is a bonus and contributed to her gaining the 2nd in command position since that means she’s all business with Abel, no flirting on the job like what the other Exorcists like to do to him. And Lord knows he wants to avoid getting romantically involved with his 2nd in command because the last time that happened, she ended up leaving for several reasons. +Sera is still the main head angel but Emily is the one that has a more domineering personality. Sera would do anything for her sister so if Emily sees that the exterminations bring joy to Heaven, then that is how things must be. Throughout the whole AU, Sera has to deal with her own inner turmoil over her morals. I'm making this stuff up as things go on, it is possible for it to change.

When I was watching this AU, I was thinking back to the OG series Exorcist's and thought, "Oh my God, what if the exorcist's think they ARE the heroes." And I have a few reasons to back this up. 1) Nobody actually knows how a soul gets into Heaven, but since Hell is a place where bad people go to, they probably think that EVERYONE is a bad person in some way. 2) Nobody was actually there when Vaggie spared a CHILD except for Adam and Lute, and they might have changed the story to make Vaggie look like the bad guy. 3) They were all hyped up for the extermination because they might have thought they were doing a good thing like "Yeah, we're doing this AMAZING thing. Those sinners are going to pay for all the horrible things they did to good people. We're protecting our home, we're protecting each other by fighting together, we're protecting Heaven."

I have no doubt at all that the exorcists see themselves as the heroes of the original story. If Adam/Lute didn't misrepresent the situation with Vaggie, there'd have been a massive uproar forcing Sera to punish him. No exorcist has ever been killed, and probably any case of one going missing would be noticed by their peers and associates in heaven. People don't go missing there, and the population at large is considerate and compassionate. It's practically a plothole that the exterminations were only known about by the exorcists and no one noticed Vaggie's disappearance to begin with.

This AU makes me wondering what does Heaven do to comfort victims? Do they get therapy or is like Hades where there's a river to forgot Earthly woes? Or does Heaven do nothing because it's a paradise and that'll be enough. This AU makes me think it's the latter and that's why Abel and his exorcists are so popular.

You can get some level of therapy to cope with the trauma of being killed, but scars never fully disappear. That and some just refuse to partake. At least that's where my take on it is at the moment.

Abel’s design would make sense if this were canon. The scar he got from when he was murdered inspired the x on the exorcist masks. And the sheep in his show as well, Abel was a shepherd I life

I like to think in this AU the Exorcists are called Avengers by Heaven. They go down into Hell to dish out justice to the Sinners in the name of any of their victims that ended up in Heaven like the child holding the sign. Abel's Avenging Angels. Has a nice ring to it.

But I wonder what the relationship between Lucifer and Adam is like in this AU. For what reason, I expect something like this: Lucifer: *embarrassed* Hey, Adam. Adam: *equally embarrassed* Hey, Luci. The idea of the hotel being a joint effort between Charlie and Adam would be very interesting- two big names in heaven and hell working together to try and fix things even a little. Especially if this is a less... fun interpretation of lucifer. Imagining him as the sort of dad that just sees his child as an extension of him that wouldn't be happy if her plan started actually succeeding despite giving permission to do it. What I'm saying is that this version of Adam should adopt Charlie to cause even more family drama.

I really like this idea. The premise of Hazbin Hotel seems to be, at least in some way, “Heaven is evil for not giving Sinners a chance” … but looking at that little Angel in the crowd? Some things are unforgivable, I hope Vivzie sees this AU and incorporates it somehow (if not with Abel but the concept behind the Exterminations)

This au also have something that hazbin hotel not acknowledged that some people in heaven was hurt by sinners. In HB we're never acknowledged that Angel Dust was a gaster in his life, he kill people, he never show any remorse because of that. Killing people in life never seems like a such a bad thing, only drugs. The whole redemption thing kinda feels unfair when you think about this with perspective from a heaven citizens, those people hurt you and now they can go in Heaven the place that exist to make you feel great because you're a good person. Also it didn't help we never know what characters in show did wrong in their lives to deserve hell, so redemption feels unearned ( Sr. Pentious)

That bit with the little angel girl was so adorable! He gave her a little head pat, so cute! I love that he actually cares about the people of heaven! Alao about the majority of heaven being against redemption, maybe they can eventually come to a compromise where the sinners who didn't do anything extremely bad, like murder on purpose, or didn't do anything that severely harmed someone already in heaven get to be redeemed, like if they killed someone in self defense and that person they killed is in hell, and because they killed someone too they have to spend an eternity with someone who possibly tormented them in life, or people who stole to survive and got killed for it. I just feel like the cases of some sinners might be more redeemable than others.

Another phenomenal animatic. The song choice wasn't something I expected but definitely fitting. Also, having the Exterminations be public and Abel framing it in such a positive way that Heaven is celebrating is an interesting spin on things. Vaggie being there was definitely unexpected. I kinda thought Abel would also end leaving her in Hell but for less malicious reasons than Adam. More as a sort of punishment for sparing someone he viewed as malicious. But I suppose Abel here is a more forgiving sort. Though it does make me wonder where Lute is. And wonder what is happening in Hell considering all the alterations. I can see Cain being more involved there, and perhaps even coming in contact with Charlie since as the first sinner he'd likely want to find a way for his own redemption. Guess we shall see. Keep up the good work

I can see Vaggie sparing a demon, but instead of running it attacks her, and manages to take out an eye before Abel intervenes. He kills the demon and instead of leaving her in hell, he helps her up and says something like " you have a compassionate heart, but its wasted on them." Taking this to heart vaggie becomes his faithful lieutenant. A position and loyalty she doesn't question until way latter when she and Abel goes against Adam and Charlie, and Charlie slowly starts to get through to her. A once bitten, twice shy kind of situation.

I've never seen someone make Abel the leader of the Exorcists before and seeing this AU just makes me genuinely wonder why?? This fits so perfectly! Also, I love that Exterminations are not only public knowledge in this AU but something like an annual event everybody looks forward to. That scene with the Exorcist gently lifting up a little Winner girl who's holding a "Thank you for avenging me" sign? Peak visual story-telling. You immediately get why Abel and the Exorcists are so beloved in Heaven and why so many people are cheering for what is basically sanctioned mass murder. Yeaaah, spending time with so many sympathetic sinners kinda makes you forget that there's a very good reason some of these people are in Hell. It makes sense that some Winners, especially those harmed and/or killed by the Sinners, wouldn't feel that bad over Abel and his girls going down there and wreaking havoc once a year. It's still wrong, but you get it. Loving this AU and Abel's Exorcist armor design is just *chef's kiss*. Edit: Okay, I gotta gush about some more things. Implementing Abel's shepherd profession into his personality like that was genius. The ram-horns on his helmet, him frequently evoking shepherd imagery with his staff and the little light-sheep. Which probably makes him even more popular with the Winners. The way he seems like a pretty genuine Bad Boy with a Heart of Gold type, but still has the same extreme black-and-white mindset as his dad did in the Hazbin Hotel canon without it coming off as forced. Also, can't believe I forgot to ask this before, but is Eve in this AU? And if so, what's her relationship with the rest of the family like?

So... I take it Cain is in Hell and is maybe acting as Charlies bodyguard? No romance, just friends. He has dual-sickles like Death Lobo since he was a farmer and used them to harvest wheat and other produce? Perhaps he wears a mask to hide the mark God placed upon him as it's a dead giveaway to who he is?

@@GedanJ I will say though my Cain is not on the level of anyone in this AU, the climax of his first arc involves him barely managing to outsmart a single exorcist when he has a two on one and a homefield advantage.

I honestly see this as a better plot for a hazbin hotel and helluva boss combined show. Seeing Adam as the loving father with Abel as the unforgiving killer of sinner due to being the very first murdered being. This could have been a better show or atleast a side show.

@@wolfsbanealphas617 Adam just let himself go in heaven. in the story book opening he seemed to be fit and was the same height as Lilith. If lute is somewhat human height, then Adam seems to be around 6'6 maybe even 7 feet tall

@@franciscorui i still belive he wasn't fat. I don't undestand how you could get fat in heaven,if I'm dead and heaven I suppost I shouldn't worry about that anymore and having a perfect healthy body. I think it is dream of everybody eating without getting fat or sick(mine is it) . Plus we see him fighting, so he is active, I will find more interesting he covers himself because he is ashamend of his body, but it body is perfectly fine. Or he is fat but he is fine about because he is cave man, so being fat is his beauty standar

@@FexrBestYTberEver Abel would probably believe his brother got off easy for being the first murderer and believes he is doing what God should have done to sinners like his brother a long time ago. And if he ever did meet his brother again he would probably kill him then search for him in Hell in the next extermination just to kill him again and forever.

I love how beautiful the animations are, it's wonderfully detailed even if it looks unfinished.😭♥️

Great animatic! It's cool we got to see Abel's face, I was expecting some slight body horror with the place where Cain's stone hit him, like a noticeable hole instead of eyesocket or sth but it's still fine (wonder whether he has a fake eye at least). Is Adam still a rockstar in this AU (but I guess like a wholesome one here)? Is Cain still somewhere in hell or did he get exterminated? If he survived is he living a regular life there or did Lucifer made him for example his personal slave/servant or a pet/prisoner as humanity's first killer?

Man, your AU is truly peak! Showing how Heaven reacts to the exorcists and viewing as heroes is so good, because it puts this debate of redemption in a more gray area, one can tell how carefully planned the details are here. Where does Lute fit into all of this? If you don't mind me asking. We know she's 100% loyal to Adam, and since Vaggie is the second in command I'm curious about her role. Can't wait to see how you implement this AU further.

I'm just wondering about Charlie. Is she with Vaggie, or is that thing now in this dimension? Or is Vag and Charlie also with Abel? Maybe not, and they're just friendly with each other, with the son of Adma himself and the daughter of the ruler of hell having parents issues for weeks. Or maybe they hate each other due to their families history, although I don't see it unless she actively against the exterminators.

Got any more info/content about your AU? I'm honestly digging it. static artwork. written, animations etc? If not fair enough. really cool though! If I might ask. How is the main hotel cast and our favorite checky assassins fairing in this AU? I get that Abel is on the war path for sinners, but like the deal Sera made with Lucy Hell born technically never sin against any living folk (at least on the same level as sinners who wronged other humans in life). Any policy on all of that? Are overlords of hell a thing with how oppressive Abel seems if they are they might be rapidly changing out due to purges. IDK, again great animatic!
