Yeah, I kept wondering if I was hearing things when Mike said he was getting his own truck. lol Good to see that Mike is available when the noob needs help (everyone is new to whatever type of work they do). Mentoring/supporting them will ensure they succeed (and so does Mike's business as a result).

Love you videos, learn stuff every time. Saw the ecm motor conversion video this morning, and going to order one. We're 45days out on carrier variable speed motors. So many times I've wanted to throw in a generic motor with relay. Now I can properly. Thanks for feeding the people. Gonna have to get mini me another Veto bag for all them gifts from God Zilla sugar daddy.

Daniel needs a couple of good garden hoses with a heavy-duty multi pattern watering wand. A good wand will save your back and make cleaning coils so quick and easy. Definitely worth it when they're less than $20. I say a couple hoses because I know sometimes the nearest hose spigot can be over 100' away, especially if the unit is on the roof. Maybe even a sink to garden hose adapter if he'll be working commercial or in restaurants. A couple bungee cords to hang them up and he'll be set.

Hello Mike, loved the video. In your opinion what pool heater would do you have or would you purchase if in the market for one. I am thinking of installing one at my house and would appreciate your input. Great looking work truck for a deserving young future master tech. Did not notice the following items in the Duct Doctor's truck;capacitors, transformers, contactors, ac drain clearing apparatus, assorted pvc fittings, droplight, fan, large magnetic umbrella for when it starts raining, foil tape,Duct seal, brazing setup, b tank for soldering. Most importantly where is his Rolex? Have a heart guy. 😆

Just curious what you ended up going with for the pool heater? I had a JXI 400N on my saw pool that developed heat exchanger failure at 18 months (about 10mo of use). Both my pool company and Jandy told me to fly a kite. I ended up switching over to an h400 FDN ASME. Been very happy with it so far. It's a giant unit for the same output but much easier to work on. Removing the heat exchanger is extremely easy. Just wondering what you ended up going with and your experience? I asked Dr pipes on a different video and they prefer the JXI 400 but especially as a service company I can't imagine why because the thing is an absolute train wreck to work on.

The 3 screw triangle shaped flame sensor not too far from the igniter. There is no cover on it. Also, you can trace back the wire from the top circuit board, labeled flame sensor, to the actual sensor.

that is a lot fancier than the pool heater for the hotel. i had it running great until a maintenance man from another hotel messed with it, he burned it out and blew up the sand filter. he shut the drain off and tried to backflush and blew to top off of the filter. and shut the water off to the heater and burned it out. but he was an expert.. you know what an expert is don't you. a has-been drip under pressure.
