Fuck. Those M's are fucking awesome. Not a first movie I see that one of those (even older ones) keep very tight competition to such a bikes as Hayabusa, R1 or CBR 1000. Keep in mind that those bikes are top bikes while M5 or M3 (not latest one) are from the high class but not the highest.

I did some quick research, and it turns out 1 Veyron Vitesse has an estimated price of around $2.25million Where I live, the rough price for a Hayabusa is about $14,500 So, in conclusion, the Veyron is a good car. But I'd rather have 154 Hayabusas.

If you remove the limiter and put another gearing bike will go over 300 km/h. After 2001 all bikes are limited to 300 km/h from factory. Now,the new Kawasaki H2R, not a street legal bike goes over 350 km/h and it has 300 horse power from factory. It has supercharger engine and its really really fast.

exactly. That is why when you look at the "bikes" that they use for land-speed record runs, they look more like a cigar or missile shape than a regular streetbike shape. Standard roadbikes don't have tailsections that are long enough to smoothly close the gap in the air that the front of the bike opens at speed. Just look at windtunnel tests to see what I mean.

Even flat out the bike looked so stable ,god suzuki make a good bikes

True,cars are definitely safer and don't get me wrong I love fast cars. A very powerful car with good downforce will beat a sports bike in corners but you just cant beat the buzz of a bike once you can ride properly.

I really like when these people compare the 2 machines... you cant compare them, first of all go check their price difference, second check the acceleration timings and finally the power to weight ration .YOU can CLEARLY see that a supersport motorcycle wins in al of those aspects.But the smallest mistake on a bike at that speed would kill in seconds, unlikely in a car you might live(never tried it though). Dont fight both are amazing machines for their own purposes !

you seem not to get my point .. lets get a scenario where an accident happens between a car and a bike , which one of the car or the bike driver has more chances to survive? the impact will make the rider fly to the air and the car driver having his seatbelt on collide with the airbag...statistics dont affect the life of the people just be cautious and careful on the streets we really dont know when it will be our last day!

xGipas I understand your point very well but the actual overall risk is a lot less than people like to imagine. I pointed out that compared to cars bikes are on average 10 times more dangerous than cars. That is the death RATE is 10 times greater comparing bikes to cars. However, I have a greater than 99% chance of survival on a bike and a 99.9% chance of survival in a car. Comparing your worst case scenario of striking an object at speed then of course the risk of death is much greater on a bike. Now, what balances the risk of death is the lower risk of accident and what brings the death rate up in cars is the greater risk of accident. If the risk of death in a serious collision is say 100 times greater, why is the overall death rate only 10 times greater? My point is that there are many more hazardous things that people do that cause premature death. Death by motorcycle accident represents 4,500/2,500,000 or 0.018% of all premature deaths. People often use highly emotive terms when trying to push their opinions. I am try to introduce some perspective. Referring back to the previous post " I've seen so many bikes going about 25 mph and they slow down and the front wheel just slips right out" In 45 years of riding this hasn't happened to me nor have I seen any motorcycle's front wheel slip right out on oil at 25 mph. The way that statement is made it looks like it's a common occurrence. It is probably a rare occurrence. It's like when people make outrageous statements about women drivers when the the facts show they have fewer accidents and a lower death rate than men.

He's not overtaking quickly at 300, not even while still accelerating (guess speedo goes to 300 max), so that's just a guess

I've never known why road car users even bother trying to race bikes, its a no contest, bike will always win... for starters even one of the Old Ninja 636's had an estimated top speed of 186mph, most road cars are restricted to 155mph.... and in terms of acceleration, the power to weight ratio is second to none on a bike

All this one or the other fanboy crap lol! I love cars and bikes and have had several fast cars & bikes. It takes much more skill to ride a bike fast than it does to drive fast. In good weather in a straight line bikes are on a different planet in acceleration levels to 99.99% of cars out there. Due to the high drag coefficient on bikes though, eventually given enough clear road a super expensive exotic (veyron and a few others) can catch and pass a superbike. On a nice summers day I could ride my bike from a to b much faster than in a fast car. In pouring rain and wind though its a different story. Both are fun in different ways, the bike for outright adrenaline and the car for high speed comfort with music! I don't get why its seems to be one or the other, get both and let the weather decide! Chill out folks :

Next try a Hayabusa against a moped, just as interesting.

I enjoy watching these car vs bike dices,what really impresses me is the amount of horsepower the bike engines produce,a typical zx 10 or zzr14,of which i ride one produce around 200 bhp,quite an engineering achivement for a small engine,that has no turbo,or supercharger.Recently Kawasaki have unveiled two new bikes that do have superchargers,the H2 and H2r.the H2 is 207 bhp,the H2r over 300bhp,Sadly the latter bike is for track use only,both machines are only 1000 cc.I would certainly like to see any supercar against the H2r in a vid like this one.

i am a bit late but no supercar thats stock can withstand a H2R..... there are modified H2 beating the shit out of 1200+ hp twin turbo lambos and porsches bro i mean there is not much of a choice when it comes to beating a 200hp+ sportsbike anyways

Hallo Jungs. Ich finde es klasse dass Euch unseres Video so gut gefehlt. Das war eigentlich nicht geplant. Der Abschnitt ist wenn man von Nürnberg kommt und auf die A9 Richtung München abbiegt. Da war aber eigentlich nicht so wenig los wie im Video zu sehen ist. Die Hayabusa ist bei 299km/h abgeriegelt. Sonst hätte ich (BMW Fahrer) keine Chance. Ich wünsche Euch weiterhin gute Fahrt. I don't miss the point at all. The risk is greatly overstated. I have a 1% chance of death if I ride a motorcycle. About 0.05% if I drive a car. I have a higher risk of death if I eat hamburgers and drink beer and even greater if I do it while driving. I am sure motorcycle riders are well aware of the different purposes of cars and motorcycles. These days performance car drivers often have a superbike in their garage. Michael Schumacher got it, So did Ayrton Senna and many other F1 drivers.

Hayabusa goes 0-60mph in 2.6sec, 1/4mile in 9.8sec. Only cars like Bugatti and Koenigsegg can match these numbers. But, the top speed is limited to 186mph(300km/h). Many cars can eventually beat Hayabusa, but it will take a long time.

I don't even know why the guy on the busa would even waste the gas.....maybe to shut the m5 guy up....ive done that with a few Harleys on my zx6r...lol.....that m5 is stupid fast though just the same.....300kph is definitely running with the big boys.

Guessing the m5 was unrestricted as they do 155mph standard and around 180ish when restrictor is taken off. Its ok for the m5 to race the busa over 130-140mph but if it was a standing start from the lights the busa would be so far ahead after reaching top speed the guy on the busa would have time to read a book when they finished the race. trust me I have had a both,no I have a gsxr 08 1000 with fully reworked race engine and nothing touches it on the streets

+susan gregory The M5 is a fast car without a doubt. But the Busa is in a different league here, there was no proper race. If i recall the e39 M5 de-restricted has a top speed of 170-175mph, which is still 16mph slower than a restricted busa lol. but the M5 is possibly one of the best "fast cars"

If I lived in Germany I would have the fastest Rice Rocket in the world ! Can you imagine riding it on the German autobahn and coming up against these guys all the time ? Very Cool . Germany rocks !

Der Biker freut sich weil er mit seinen 200PS/260kg einem M5 mit 400PS/1700kg wegbeschleunigen kann. Bravo!
