Maika'i kau ki'i! Good video. I was on this flight last August after a trip to bother relatives in Portland and Tacoma. The rain on the window at the beginning reminded me of when my wife and I were at university in Tacoma almost 50 years ago. When it was grey and chilly and rainy, we'd use the old $40 "student standby fare" to fly home, see the sun, warm up, and visit the dentist! Good shots of landing. But remember for future flights, sitting on the right side offers the best views of approaching O'ahu.

Glad you enjoyed the video. I used to fly from LAX so sitting on the left side always gave nice views of the islands as you flew in. But from Seattle, it's a very northern approach so you don't really fly past the rest of the islands and you basically head straight for O'ahu. My upcoming video is a takeoff from Honolulu from the right side of the aircraft with a nice view of the Reef Runway after takeoff. So I hope you'll check out that video once it's posted!

manu bird always the right side to HNL for me! That first look towards Waikiki and diamond head as you pull off the runway... Nothing quite like it in the world!
