Nice little trip! I love how you folks go to the small boat harbor - i fished there with my grandfather and family members since i was a young kid! It's always my "go to" place when I come back home to Waimea... Nice how they fixed that place up! My auntie folks had a gas station and store over that area decades ago. Maybe you remember it? The T Doi store up the little hill. Ahh good times, good memories. Mahaols you guys!!

Oh I remember that store! I can't recall exactly where it was though...I think it was above where the little strip mall is now? Or was it right were the strip mall is? Darn, so long ago I cannot remember other than I used to enjoy going up the hill and getting stuff back in the day.

You can do that method. Most people run slide bait or dunk rigs with bait from shore. I got videos on the dunk if you wanted to learn it

I would've ate the ulua, omilu and all that, except the mu. The mu was little bit too small for me small kine like that I let live
