Aloha hui!
Today and night we try our luck fishing for ulua ( Giant Trevally ). We start the evening out sampling some lures, and then fishing for some live bait that we can use to slide out on the slide bait rigs. After that the ulua fishing is on as we let the poles soak in the hopes that some of Hawaii's giants come in hot and we can land out first ulua!

Have you ever tried eating the 'upapalu? I remember growing up I used to go night fishing with my grandpa and catch a bunch of them. The next day he'd fry them real crispy you could eat almost the whole thing. Buggahs was tasty! I like to dip them in some shoyu mixed with lemon juice (or ponzu if you have)

@unclebuck I usually go maku'u or down paradise if you down for a hike u could try walking towards shipman bay theres a cove before there that no one really fishes so I'd say get action
