Lol, you sound so impatient with how often you say "I can't wait." But I !love how polite you are and how you always go out of your way to address people by name. I'm sure they appreciate that as well.

Last time we ate at Orchids for the brunch was 7 months ago and at the time many of the items were still self serve. Now I see that they serve you everything. Prior to Covid, other than the omelet and carving stations, you would be serving yourself and the selections were much more extensive than it is now. What you really have at Orchids, that make it worthwhile, is the setting and the service. Outstanding!! The food itself it really good but there are other brunches on Oahu that equal it for just the food.

LoL...it is a fun shirt though it's a little different to find an occasion to wear it back home.. Canadian winters and Hawain shirts don't match well😉

I see shrimp and crab legs. I know what I'm starting off with right off the bat when I go to this buffet.

The Prince hotel in Honolulu also has an incredibly good Sunday buffet - if it is still open since covid.

Tim, would you rather serve yourself at a buffet spread, or have someone serving you? I myself, I'd rather serve myself. Nice video Tim.

True, I’d rather serve myself cuz that lady touched her mask few times n touch the plate n served him & the guy used his bare fingers to pick up seafood for him... not very hygienic in my opinion🤔

I love your channel. The videos are always on point, relaxing, and cheerful. You never have anything bad to say ( ok there was that one time with the blood cake). Lol

I don’t know where you fit it all 😂. Everything looked delicious, and even proper popovers with the roast and gravy! I wish I could do more than one plate… I never try buffets because I just can’t eat enough to make it worthwhile

He does that by talking to the servers, and gets their names first before he films the segment.

We had made a reservation for Orchids but cancelled it to go to a local Sunday market in Kapolei instead. So glad you were able to go to Orchid’s and share it with us. Now we’re definitely going to make another reservation and go for sure the next time!! Everything looked delicious!! Was wondering when we would see you wear the shirt you bought that night we saw you!! It definitely matched the brunch occasion!! 🙌🏽👍🏽

Maui is currently having unusual heat wave with high humidity, but it should end this Friday and we are not leaving until next Friday. Looks like the rest of the time will be good weather. No exotic fruits in the fall season…bummer. We did get to pick wild guava when we went zip line.

LOVE Orchids @ the Halekulani! I have literally flown from Texas there to enjoy the buffet (pre-C19). I'm glad they are back & all is looking delicious! Cannot wait to go back. Thank you!

I think it's the best buffet I've had so far...so many stations and stellar desserts. I agree... considering everything in Waikiki is priced higher, it's quite worthwhile 😋

Orchids is great but the Four Seasons Ko Olina Sunday Brunch at La Hiki is even better

Btw. That’s crazy amount foods u ate in one setting… specially with rice. Noodles and breads. U can eat cous. Love their silverwares

If you liked Orchids now, too bad you weren't able to try it pre Covid. Back then it was absolutely amazing!! We have eaten here many times both before and after Covid. It is still very good but like I said, pre Covid it really was amazing!! Nothing compared at that time. It is really too bad that everything has changed since but that is the way life is now.

I love Halekulani. My first stay was 1997 they picked us up in airport with rolls-Royce. There was no check ins. They just escort you up…

@@21340 FALSE! This place $85, The Nordic $125. Not triple the price. And the Nordic gives you all you can eat Lobster, King crab legs, Sea scallops, Filet mignon. and far better items.

Hi Tim What I did not like about this Buffet the portion of protein very small how much time you go back and get I know it is all you can but that's both it did not really impress me but I have to see say the Roman look really good
