Hawaii dad paves way for son's Little League World Series

The year was 1988, and the stands at Lamade Stadium in Williamsport, Pennsylvania were packed to watch Hawaii win their first United States championship. Then, Pearl City Little League featured Ken Noda. His son, Mikah, is on this year's Honolulu world series team.

    I remember 1988, in fact, most of the players went to Highlands Intermediate and I was there classmate. They were all humble and friendly and I was friends with them all through intermediate and high school.

    These kids can teach the MLB players a thing or two. When they hit a player they go over and shake hands and make sure that the other player is OK. And they play to have fun win or lose it's all about just having fun.
