I always said hands down this was the most explosive team I've ever seen in the Little League World series and Ive been watching the Little league World series since I missed my chance in 85 by one game.

I lucked out! I just happened to turn on the TV and there was Ewa Beach, Hawaii playing in the Little League World Series in 2005. . WHAT? WHAT? What's going on? Wait a second! Hold on? What? I saw this game from the beginning and my heart flip flopped like my slippas. And the MOST STRESSFUL time was at the top of the 7th inning when Fe'ao was throwing MLB heat in the 100's and fanning those poor Curacao kids in a tie ballgame of 6 - 6. Then in the bottom 7th Mamea cracked a walk off home run for Hawaii to be NO KA OI! The happiest moment in my life. I was so happy to see the Hawaii kids representing the US in the Little League World Series win.

Man, I was so happy to witness that 2005 LLWS game against Curacao. I was so proud of these guys, as I was 12 years old myself, seeing Michael Memea hit that walk-off home-run and make Little League history was awesome. Baseball consumed me but this team was particularly special for me and this game so endearing as that was my final day spent living in New Orleans the day before Hurricane Katrina. I was watching this game from my family's hotel room and because ABC was running hurricane evacuation coverage, ESPN picked the game up at those last minutes when Memea hit that ball out the park! I hope to meet the whole team one day. I especially would have liked to see Vonn Fe'ao and Michael Memea in this video also, but hopefully, one day!:-)

Awesome but would've been nice to see all of em especially Vonn Fe'ao, Mike Memea and my cousin Quentin Guevara, 2005 West O'ahu...The Best Team Ever!!
