Very true but it is one of the classes when u just start playing u think u do massive damage but in fact ur probably doing zero, while I find warlock very opposite to that

Yup most fun button to press by a mile feels great looks epic and just an all round very fun ability to use.

This seems like a pretty ideal 4 set bonus. I don’t need anything crazy, blade dance is fun to press. Pressing it more is good.

Seems fun! I’d love you see them bring back something like the old Chaos Cleave to give chaos strike an AOE component. It would give a fun and strong alternative to ragefire while maybe focusing more on the middle of the tree

This sounds super fun, reminds me of ol' BfA days where we had to press blade dance on single target over and over and on cooldown basically.

Does DH still have to jump all over the place to deal extra damage with the inertia momentum bullshit, or did they get rid of it in tww??

I think a subtle sound cue is enough, kind of like how your original Immolation Aura free proc sound cue was like.

I’m stoked about the changes for TWW. I’m also really warming up to the major differences in the hero talents. It would be great if they are tuned relatively similarly, so it’s more about how we want to play. P.s. Look mom I’m on TV!

the chance for the relentless onslaught proc and the chaos strike that procced proc the set bonus is around 2,5%. not enough to justify the talent point

These tier set procs will be super satisfying to get and create an extremely involved playstyle where you have to be constantly quick on your feet (combined with Inertia). Sadly this will punish downtime severely, similar to any tier set/talent combo that encourages you to endlessly spam chaos strike

I don't understand the people that are disappointed about this set. The empowered abilities by the set are one of the best damage sources of our and as you showed they have a lot of synergy in our talent tree to empower them even more. I also think this can boost our ST damage, which was not that great in the DF and in general looks pretty fun to play with all of these resets

in reality this is the best tierset we got since end of Shadowlands, current tier is strong but is not interactive as this one will be. Cant wait for a high rolled 3 BD inside a EB window

Fel-Scarred is already meta for this tier bonus, due to Blade Dance and Chaos Strike enhanced versions in demon form, meaning you want to be demon as long and often as possible

The illusion of choice :) That's the thing with Open Beta Access, there is no real choice once the game comes out, because what is the best choice has already been solved at that point.

I don’t play any mover abilities, so I can get that double Chaos Strike talent no sweat. Haha

BD/DS deserves to be on top. It always frustrated me when I saw CS being top damage for a while, I think it was during BFA maybe? Anyway.. Feels good! Excited to try

I like the bonus, but it definitely feels like it makes glaive tempest, throw glaive, and Fel barrage a bad choice because ou much rather spend fury on Chaos Strike for Blade Dance resets.

Chaos theory not worth taking with this tier bonus?

Imo its just like df s1, the tier sets are really simplist because its easier to see how classes are performing and fine tune if needed later, something that is harder to do if they introduce tier sets with a lot of gimmicks on them

except this set is highly likely to have blade dance/death sweep damage to get nerfed 1/2 weeks into the patch cuz havoc looks insane when mobs insta die and the dam is super frontloaded. then 4 weeks into the patch when things live and havoc falls off you could see they didnt need to nerf but its too late and it wont get buffed

Jesus, havoc dh is still one of the easiest specs to play. I guess you can still demote yourself to fury warrior

i'm looking forward for this might mean i starts to play retaile once more the MM build really killed it for me (i'm 100% anti momentum build) i really felt slower in the momentum build just becourse i had to save the fellrush for fights so yerh i was't happy about it and then they started to give set bonuses like throw a war glave out mean wail you was't speced into it but now your kinda forced to it i'm happy we acctly can get some set bounuses that's for DH on top of that and this is no joke i would wait 6+ month to get into a m+ becourse of how bad the momentum builds learning curve was like i got 4 m+ in total in shadowlands even tho i did a +13 out of 15 the first day just becourse the shear space momentum builds take and the ninja-pulls that can come from it and it was't like i was only looking for 1h a day no it was 4-6h a day no pogs would take me in it was so bad like i never ever hope momentum feels forced on us once more

COH doesnt gets better I think since if you are not pressing BD you are pressing CS. So its the same amount of CDR per skill even with procs. Or am I high???

I hope they don't do something too complicated with the DH. It's fun to play, but in some seasons the difficulty was dragging the gameplay down, especially when forcing movement in MM+ where the wrong move means instant death. I suck at complex rotations, but I still want to play the game :D

Yeah I know Jedith said not to read too much into his talent choices, but I have to admit my heart sank a little when I saw he had the movement talents for a Fel-Scarred build. The way it looked initially was that Fel-Scarred would be the low movement option, Aldrachi Reaver would be for those that like that kinda thing and everyone would be happy.

@@zenith_journey Selfish? How is adding a choice selfish? I'm not suggesting anything be taken away. If you don't want "dumbed down" then great, play the spec that incorporates movement. Movement is not an identity. Movement is a gimmick. The movement playstyle wasn't a thing until BFA, yet people speak like it's the one core unarguable trait of DH. Having demonic powers is the class identity, and there's plenty of people out there who want to play a class with that identity but not play with the movement talents. Hero talents would be a great way for both of these playstyles to be viable. I feel like I'm wasting my time by saying this as the DH class designer seems to agree with you. I was just looking forward to playing DH again after enjoying it in Legion.

I do NOT agree with the simplification, this was the problem they had in DF Season 1, because we had the new talent trees they didnt make a set bonus that synergized with ANY talent at all. Why cant they make a fucking set bonus that simply synergizes with either hero talent tree? I dont fucking understand it; They got this right in DF S3 with our Throw Glaive talents, why are they going backwards!!!! Im all for a Blade Dance Set Tree, dont get me wrong, but this makes anything else in our rotation dead, because all were doing now is Chaos Striking just to fish for BD Procs. Like this is Shadowlands all over again

Once you press your other longer CD buttons (eye beam, Blade Dance, The Hunt, Sigil)...What else do you spend your fury on? Chaos Strike is our fury dumper. You're spamming it no matter what.

You say were spamming CS well yeah were doing that now, but now I feel like were pushing the button just for a BD proc. Thats not... it looks fun, but does it feel fun, thats what Im saying here. To me this just feels boring after one day.

why do u even need a weakaura for the proc.. when you can clearly see you have one? lol tf.. the reliance of addons for people in this game is ridiculous.
