Thank you for remembering people with these kind of problems. My wife suffers with rheumatoid arthritis in her hands and struggles racking any slide. I got her the one shaped like a ring for the back plate on her 43x and loves it. Thanks a bunch Lenny for making it possible for my wife to confidently be able to protect herself.

I find it funny that a lot of people were negatively criticizing H&K for the racking "ears" on the VP9 when it came out....and here we are.

Instead of pulling back on the slide with your left hand, hold the slide with your left hand and push forward on the grip with your right hand - or visa versa if you are left handed.

Did you know that the Swedish police has for the past to years switched from Sig Sauer p320 to Glock 45? One of the main reasons is that it’s hard to get spare parts for the Sig. Glock 45… excellent choice!

If you use proper technique it is not hard to rack a slide. Hold the slide with your entire weak hand and push the gun with your strong hand.

If you don’t personally need this product, that means it’s not being advertised to you. An arthritic person can’t just “use proper technique”. Neither can someone with a physical disability, a nerve disorder, MS, just to name some examples. It’s like telling someone that needs a wheel chair that with “proper technique” they can walk because walking is not hard to do. Become more self aware and learn to view the world beyond the lens of only your perspective. Things will make more sense.

@@wiseinvestments5134 I do get that there are some people that struggle and for some it’s a medical problem. But I also see a lot of people struggle with slide manipulation because of technique. They grab the rear of the slide with two fingers and can’t pull it back. My point is for most people it should not be an issue to operate the slide but poor technique often leads to difficulty. I have personally taught people with arthritic hands and they find when they use their entire hand they can operate the slide. In extreme cases yes something to help is a good idea. An S&W EZ model can help people with severe problems or bad technique too.

I would not own a Glock even if you delivered them inside free Rolls Royces, encrusted in diamonds, and stuffed with hundred dollar bills. I shot one once. 50 rounds was all it took. You discovered that first-time gun buyers could be enticed by the millions. Good for your marketing people. Well done. The actual guns themselves, not so much!
