Having an existential crisis as I pass 1m views. Feedback needed! What do I do???

Sadly this kind of thing has become fashionable - a KZreadr having some sort of a crisis.
In my case I'm about to record a "what do you want from me video" when I click past 1 million lifetime views. But I am out of ideas, out of content, and have genuinely thought about stopping.
So tell me what works, what doesn't, what you want to see on this channel, and I'll see what I can do.
Welcome to Just Get a Tesla, where I do a series of tests and challenges to help show people that instead of shopping around for EVs they should just get a Tesla...

I like all of your videos but the ones that most appeal to me are your travel ones, particularly the ones showing the beautiful Scottish landscape. Your honest analysis of the considerable strengths and some of the weakness of owning an EV are also of great interest. Thank you for many enjoyable video sessions.

Congratulations! I like your travel videos! You blend the unique beautiful Scottish landscape and how easy it is doing it in a Tesla.

Congratulations on your landmark achievement. I also got a Model Y at the same time as you did and I was watching to get information. My favourite videos of yours are when you fight back at the anti ev people tell the truth and talk common sense about the experience of owning an EV. We need more of that to stop all of those haters out there!! Well done again!!

Congratulations Ian. Here's to the next million 🙂 As for content etc. Personally I watch your channel and dream, as I don't have a Tesla, and quite honestly can't see me having one. The type of videos you make, it's like being there with you, along for the ride, easy watching, often informative. The tours are great.

I found your channel while seriously thinking of buying an EV. I watched many KZread EV videos. I still look forward to a Friday when you upload one of yours. I just got a Tesla, a used one, and your content has been extremely useful to me.

Well done on getting over 1 million views. I do enjoy your trips and seeing the great scenery. I also think that showing the longer trips and how charging was and explaining you have stopped to eat/drink and charged the car, are very good to help people see they can live with an EV.

Congrats! I like watching your videos! Well researched. Down to earth and to the point is what gets me to watch your content. You are cutting out a lot of the hype for topics that are interesting and deserve to be explained well without turning it into a marketing job.

Well done, Ian. As millions of UK homes don't have off-street parking to facilitate home charging, I would like you to diarise, for one calendar month, how you would cope using your Tesla when relying entirely on public charging points, including, crucially, overnight.

Here's my take on it. I joined your channel because I was also buying a Model Y and wanted to know how others were finding it. I follow a bunch of Tesla and EV channels and I still think there is space for a simple channel filming their day to day trips and just documenting what its like to live with an EV. So for any trip which is going to need a charge, perhaps a look at ABRP planning the trip (or maybe just the Tesla planner), then the thought process about charging stops etc, then a brief video of the trip itself, the charging experience and then a final wrap up, perhaps detailing costs. Most of this could be shot on a phone in single takes, very easy to edit. You would probably need to do some of these using public chargers as opposed to Tesla network. New potential EV owners can then look at REAL-LIFE use cases and not one-off slightly niche case road-trips which no-one is going to do anyway.

As a fellow youtuber, albeit a different subject I know what you mean! I’ve sweated over videos that I thought were going to be huge and that line on the graph has stayed below that ‘grey smoke’ area of the graph. I’ve made videos I wasn’t 100% about and they’ve gone crazy. It’s a dark art! Your channel was a big help in making the decision to switch to a Tesla, and combine that with an area of the country I always pine for, I am very grateful you do what you do. 👏🏻

I started watching your channel a year ago because I was thinking about buying an EV. I can say I have watched every episode and in Dec last year bought a M3 purely because of your enthusiasm for Tesla and you putting my mind at ease about charging ie I could I travel somewhere over say 200 miles and know I wouldnt be stuck either on the side of the road or at a non functioning charging station with 0% battery. I would not have an EV today without your input and it is a Tesla because of your input so thank you. My favourite vlogs are road trips - the Cybertuck video probably bombed because we in the UK cant buy one even if we wanted one so not really interested (but I still watched it). Thanks again

I like your touring ones, with the scenery and a little of the history of where you are. The Applecross trip was excelent and brought back great memories.

Hey Ian, great video. Your content is great and I watch just about everything. Personally I love the travel videos, including charging destinations etc. Less keen on the ‘sitting in the car’ chatting videos.
