    Being born in Hong Kong and grew up with Guangdonghua, and having lived in the US for 56 years, I have trouble understanding putonghua that has an accent. I can understand the kids perfectly 👍

    Well, the Japanese are happy, they own 7-11 worldwide. I do like the food presented, nice quick meal! In the USA, the staff will demand tips for ringing up the purchase

    Omg the strawberry cone dessert reminds me of something I grew up with as a kid back home in Toronto Canada. I never seen that here in macau. I wish I could speak mandarin like your kids Happy Easter 🐣

    Thanks Jimmy! Happy Easter to you too! We went to Macau last year, it’s so nice there! But weirdly I had trouble trying to pay for anything. I had to get cash out and no machine accepted my Chinese card. 🤨 eventually my credit card saved the day! Don’t you guys use WeChat or Alipay?

    😉 thank you! I guess we don’t eat junks food that often, the kids are not a fan of McDonald’s or Burger King, they have Chinese stomachs and prefer some rice with meat and vegetables.

    I think unlike other asian 7-11s, it's probably cheaper and better food at local hole in the walls? :D I'd imagine you can get a small bowl of plain noodles(just sauce but no toppings I mean) for 10 rmb or less at an average local place?

    Yes, 7-eleven is about the convenience, and that’s what you pay for too. If you want better cheaper noodles you just go to a gramps on the street selling it from his street cart 😉

    Well we have 7 eleven here, but they don't serve such foods. Only retail things like chips, drinks and such sundries.

    We once tried an American Hot Dog at a Chengdu 7-11. It worked! It was mostly a stunt for Emily's wiener enthusiast Dad but it was perfectly fine.

    Suggesting you to try dongbei(north east China ) food, its dumplings, sweet sour pork, shredded sweet potatoes are very famous (you can find 老郑家restaurant )
