one of my ex girlfriends was cheating on me with 19 guys simultaneously (and I guess on them by that factor). The guy she finally hooked up with was her 'best friend' and 'brother'. Last found out 3 months later she was being emotionally and physically abused and she reached out to me for help. I promptly responded "Those same homegirls who helped you hide all of your infidelity are the ones you need to call, not me. Lose my number".

@@LiaMeni Yeah. Over the course of about 8 to 9 months, that many guys collectively. Between meeting them, sexting them, sending them lingerie and nudes, she was unfaithful. My sorry ass ended up forgiving her after the first 3 times I caught her, but when I realized the whole scope, I asked her to end things with me because she ended the relationship with her infidelity. Despite her crying and begging, I walked away. And I only found out because one of her best friends that she told, and he (now she, as they transported mtf) informed me immediately after gathering tons of proof.

I walked in on my gf of 6 years messing around with a guy in my uncles pool. I told her to get in the truck and tried to offer him a ride home because he lived up the road but he stayed at my cousins. I fully intended to kick his teeth in and leave him in a ditch. It took a week to process everything because I really liked her but I had to give her the boot. I didn't walk in on them, but they practically waved the evidence strait in my face. I was working with this girl named S, and I was pretty much her only work friend. I wouldn't say they hated her, at least not at the time, they just couldn't get past how high pitched her voice was and thought it was annoying. I was pretty much the only person who didn't care that she sounded like a 10 year old Japanese anime character. She was pregnant, and one day came to work completely freaked out because her brother tried to run her over with his truck after she refused to give the baby to her abusive ex. I offered to let her stay with me for a week while she looked for her own place, just to get her out of that situation, and when my boyfriend G found out, he offered to drive her around and help her look. She seemed so appreciative, and even expressed an interest in making me her baby's godmother. Then, she stabbed me in the back. One night, after G and I came back from a date, we found her trying to cut herself, and my G took her for a drive to calm down. They came back a few hours later with her having a hickey on her neck. They claimed that they stopped at the gas station, and she was standing outside the car while G went inside to get some water, and that was when another ex of hers attacked her in the parking lot. I let it go, because even though I knew G had a tendency of leaving hickeys, I also knew that he knew how NOT to leave them, because he'd stopped after I asked him to because I didn't want to have it at work. Everyone at work tried to get me to see that they had cheated, but I was naive and gave them both the benefit of the doubt. Then, just a few days after S had left, G came to my apartment and told me he was breaking up with me. It was then that I knew that my co-workers were right, and that he was leaving me for S. She'd quit around that time too, probably because she knew everyone hated her for what she did to me. A few months later, my boss, who was also pregnant, told me she saw S and G together at the doctor's office, which pretty much solidified our suspicions. About a year later, she had the gaul to come back and ask for her job back. My boss checked with me first before hiring her back, and I told her I was fine with it, as long as S stayed away from me. I pretty much ignored her unless I absolutely had to, but one day she came up to me and asked if I was okay. I told her no, that she stole my boyfriend of 3 years after I got her out of that dangerous situation. I said I wanted nothing to do with her, and only gave our boss the okay to hire her because I was trying to be professional, but that outside of anything explicitly work related, I would not be talking to her. She left a few months later.

It might seem kind of distasteful, but I'd bet she would appreciate having the support, and I've heard of another story where two neighbors, both male, decided to swap wives. Now all kids involved happily live together as step-siblings. You might also find that she or her sister starts to catch feelings for you. I hate it when the person who your ex cheats on you with smirks and acts smug. My ex cheated on me with several girls and, because I was young and stup!d, believe him when he said he wasn't cheating. One girl in particular wanted some weird af love triangle thing and would constantly set up scenarios where we're near each other, even though we had completely different schedules in school--I was almost impressed. I half-expected a camera to be shoved in my face during these petty encounters, where she would talk about her activities and how awesome my ex was, how close they were. I finally caught them in the act, my ex and that girl, and just shrugged and walked away. I knew it was coming, so had already gotten over it and was just waiting for the confirmation. The next day she walks over and bumps into me, almost knocking my stuff over. I can't help but laugh at the Mean Girls scene playing out in real life. She smirks at me and I smirk back saying, "You look pretty good for a side piece. Have fun with my leftovers." She turned a pretty shade of red and was pretty creative with her insults, screaming louder and louder as I walked away, not once looking back. They broke up three months later when, surprise-surprise, he cheated on her. Side pieces get what they pay for.

This is a long one, but here's the TL;DR - My best friend's fiance snuck around with another, much younger girl behind her back and lied through his teeth about it. He's in his early thirties while she was 19, roughly a child compared to all of us My former housemates. My best friend (f, 30's) and her romantic partner (m, 30's). We had lived all together the since the day they got together in 2017. At first, he seemed like he might be her The One - helping us out with rent, taking care of bills and tax, spending time with her (at first). They even got a loveable fox-red lab together who, even when she did wrong, could do no wrong. Over the next 4/5 years, we had moved to different places in the county as rent before was getting larger. Our final home together would be in 2021. During that final year, Partner had proposed to Best Friend on a trip abroad. He never got the ring prior, so it was an unofficial engagement, but in the meantime, they were trying for a child with some difficulty so Best Friend chose IVF. Something happened between them and they had a talk. He was having second thoughts about wanting a child so they shelved the idea after much deliberation. Soon after, he starts meeting up with this girl (19) and BF gets suspicious as he's going out of his way to meet her after she finishes work. BF tells him to stop, but he wouldn't, telling her that there's nothing going on. More suspicion is raised when he starts taking the dog out for long walks into town. BF knew where he was going and confronted him about it. There was shouting from him and accusations thrown at BF like "You're pushing me towards her" which contradicted his "There's nothing between her and I" stance. BF gave him an ultimatum - "Either it's me or her". He would yell "I DON'T WANT HER! I WANT YOU!", to which she said through tears "Then stop seeing her. That's all I ask". He still refused so BF went to stay with her mother for a while, both to calm down herself and to let him get his thoughts straight. I was walking home from a night shift one morning when Partner sends me a text. He tells me that he's letting Girl stay for a little while before her shift starts, then gives me this spiel about her stepdad sexually harassing her and she needed to get out. Neither of them reported it to the police, which they should have done especially if she had younger siblings in his care (information I wasn't privy to until their next argument). As he said, she left for work. Nothing had happened. I didn't tell BF as I didn't think she needed to know as he was just helping someone and it was just a one-time thing. I come home another morning from another night shift. As I open the door, I'm greeted by the dog, as she loves greeting everyone. I look over to where we keep the shoes and see an unfamiliar pair of trainers. I thought "Oh, surely fucking not". I sneak into the living room to feed the dog quietly. Girl is not on the sofa. Instead, she was in bed with Partner. Now, I didn't know what to do in this situation. Should I tell BF and risk her breaking down and attempting suicide? Do I not tell her and become an accomplice to his infidelity? Either choice I make, I'm stuck in the middle of their aftermath. I went with not telling BF, hoping Partner would get Girl out of the house and not see her again. BF came back a few days later. I'm hoping they can get back on track, he stops seeing Girl and I no longer have to fear the outcome of either decision. Then BF calls Partner into their room. She found an article of Girl's clothes down her side of the bed. More shouting pursues, followed by hysterical crying from BF. BF's mother was also called to help mediate and calm BF down, even going so far to ask Partner "How could you be so stupid?!" They would split up but she tried to keep it civil between Partner and herself, surprisingly. But that collapsed when Girl had posted s selfie with BF's dog on Twitter. BF asked Girl to remove it politely before getting onto (now ex) Partner's case about it. More argument that night followed, this time resulting in him having to pack his shit and leave for his own country of birth. After it all, BF now lives with some friends elsewhere and has a new boyfriend, Ex-Partner took the dog with him and still flies back here to see Girl, and I moved back in with my parents. I and BF are still on good terms, but I'll always still have that biting guilt of not telling BF or kicking Girl out of the house that one morning.

These stories remind me of something that I remember as a kid. I didn’t catch my mom cheating per se .. but my dad did.. we were poor and staying with family in NC. My mom and I shared a bunk bed in a room and my dad slept on the couch out in the living room. I was like 8 years old and my little sister who was 4 was sleeping in the same bed as me on the top bunk. My mom was doing things with my dads little 13 year old brother. I remember my mom telling me not to look and to go back to sleep (yes we were all in the same room while this was happening). My dad walked in and pulled them apart. My mom immediately got defensive and rushed to the bathroom to get her clothes back on (her bra was undone but still hanging on her). My dad took my 13 year old uncle outside to ask wtf was going on. (His brother looked much older than he was. Big a** corn fed white boy and even had facial hair) He kicked his brother out and also kicked my mom out shortly after and it was just me and dad and my lil sis. Things were peaceful and less weird afterwards.

He walked in, and I followed with my camera out recording. We caught them in bed together. My friend confronted them but managed to not make physical contact with them. He threw her out. During divorce proceedings, wife tried to claim he hit her, but my video proved otherwise. Due to her infidelity, she got nothing in the divorce (prenup for the win!). When it was all over, he told me he was thinking of divorcing her, but couldn't afford it. My phone call to him was his 'Get Out Of Jail Free' card. I have never paid for a drink since that day whenever we meet up. She tried to crawl back into his life, but he was having none of it!

yeah, if you love someone and you made the decision to have a closed relationship, you can´t tell me you love this person and decided to betray this person anyways. Don´t tell me you can not stop being intimate with someone else while you can literally even stop to be intimate with your own loved one. It is not that hard to stop initiating s. I had s before, I know how it works and what it takes to be intimate. It takes so many steps to cheat (on every step you can just stop), while it takes so little not to cheat. Who do you want to fool here? If you cheat on and betray someone you mutually decided to have a closed relationship with, you don´t love this person. You don´t even have the basic respect and just use this person as a thrill to do something that is not allowed as some kind of fetish. If you want to sleep with someone else and you love your partner you agree on an open relationship in the first place. This is what people that respect and love each other, do. Going behind someones back is not a sign for love, my dear, no matter how much you want to fool us. There is no love without respect for each other.

His wife makes twice as much as him and he still willingly pays child support because he sees it as his responsibility. The idea that he wanted to share custody isn't in question. 3.) You're making things up. You have no idea who was actually the 'better' parent (I use better loosely, because it's obvious who the reasonable person in this marriage was, and a Mother and Father are both irreplaceable in the life and raising of a child). My cousin in the late nineties came home from work four hours early. Thought he would surprise his wife, whom he married when he was nineteen, and she was seventeen. And hearing a muffled noise from the bedroom, walked in to find his little Italian wife on top of this Italian guy, who she had been banging for two years on the side. Now they were both in their late thirties by then. My cousin just stood there watching, and they both looked at him, he then walked out, took his kids, and began a long journey to physco hell. We used to be best friends since childhood until he jacked me when I was twenty. I felt bad, but in a way, he kinda had it coming as well. I loved him, and I see his son on occasion, with big hugs of affection, as I never let personal differences come between loving other people. Yeah, shit happens when your are married, ageless stories.

Being visibly misshapen and gangly, I never had any such opportunities. Even so, I could not do that to someone. I know how I would feel--confused, empty; possibly angry--and I would not want to subject another to any of that, or worse. I just couldn't! As for someone cheating on me, well, I can understand attraction and desire, passion in the spontaneity of the moment. I likely would feel those myself. I would want to know if what intimacy we had was real. I never have had any of this. In my long loneliness, I would want her to remain, in my dread of being alone. But what would we then have? The most solemn trust one can give to another broken? Perhaps irretrievably? Conversely, could we rebuild that broken trust? That would require candid discussion. I would have to keep any hurt and anger I felt in check, to refrain from lashing out in recrimination. She may have hurt me, but I still do not want to hurt her. Couples rarely learn to fight fairly. That is, to express one's feelings without accusation, bitterness, etc. Many do not even know the notion of it exists. We all need to help one another be better people. To be more responsible to our closest intimates. And to be more responsible FOR our closest intimates; after all, we hold in our hands their heart.

Not me, but I only recently met my Dad's cousin for the first time last year in September. As my Dad put it -and judging from the many stories he had to tell giving it merit- he was an orangutan: always brawling, out to the rodeo (literally), was a bouncer, security guard, pipeline worker. You name any rough and tumble work and prolly he did it. Nowadays, not so much (he's crippled from the waist down as a result of his rodeo days). Anywho, one of the stories he told me when we visited was when he caught his long-time wife cheating on him. He had gotten home early and was surprised to see his wife greet him at the door leading inside from the garage, as well as the fact that the garage itself was open. She tries to dismiss it as nothing and comes up with an excuse, he counters by saying something regarding her footwear and how it was odd to be doing that in such attire (memory is hazy on the finite details, apologies). Mate that she's cheating on walks out and greets him, much to his chagrin. What does he do? Goes out of the garage, to the fence alongside the house, returns with an empty double-barrel shotgun and pretends to cock it as he rounds the corner. Cheater is halfway through getting his shoes on when he looks up and sees the barrel of this shotgun staring right back at him. My Dad's cousin gives him an ultimatum and the cheater books it down the road with only his underwear, socks and one half of his shoes. He realizes mid-sprint that he missed his other shoe, turned around to retrieve it, saw my Dad's cousin, thought twice and just admitted defeat and ran. My Dad's cousin subsequently burst into laughter, put the unloaded gun away and went inside to discuss things with his soon-to-be former wife. She was out by the next morning. The whole scare tactic for the cheater was nothing but a cruel prank. And before anyone says anything, this was in BC.

But after a few rounds over a month, or so... I can see it losing its nostalgia real fast. If one starts becoming paranoid and self-conscious, the other will likely follow suit... Next thing you know, it evolves into the two playing mind games with each other as their paranoia leads to jealousy... it would be a real shit show. One that I just cannot see being worth the effort in even trying just once. If you're someone like me... any family photos I see around the place, I have to turn them over so they're not looking at me, and I'm not looking at them 😄

@@chuckshartz2722 i can understand how you could see that. Alot of what you're saying i feel like is observations from seeing mono to poly relationships and that happens alot in those cases. Like all relationships communication and boundaries are key, so because it's consensual on all parts, they set boundaries and the boundaries aren't to be broken, ie: use condoms, don't bring them home, only same sex partners(if it's not kitchen table polyamory) or in kitchen table polyamory where everyone is dating eachother their boundaries might be, don't do solo stuff while the other is home, or they all find someone together if they want to add more to their relationship. Communication is key- if someone feels jealous communication needs to be open and guilt free, so "hey x i need to talk about my feelings about your partner y" "Ok, what's up?" "Communicate insecurities" "It's ok you feel like that, what might help you feel less insecure" Stuff like that. Communicate, respond don't react. Polyamory also really isn't for everyone, and it's perfectly ok if it's not for you! It's a hard balance to find, and it's not everyone's piece of pie. :)
