That reminds me of atyoida pilipes (green lace shrimp), which closely resembles amano, but has very tiny, functional fans. They are a species you may enjoy!

Aah yes! I have seen one of these before and yeah they do actually have little fans. I’m learning so much at the moment I think my head might explode 😂

You should do a video on the anatomy of shrimps and what the arious parts of shrimps are called and where they are located on a shrimp. Maybe do a life cycle of shrimps of various kinds in the aquarium trade.

I saw a picture from a paper somewhere that zoomed into the claw of a Neocaridina species and there were tiny hairs all over kind of like cilia. Made me realize that when shrimp are picking at stuff they're really just sweeping biofilm off of surfaces.

Ahrimps are amazing creatures that take advantgae of whatever food sources their environments give them to feed on, be it filter feeding on plankton, hunting fish or mollusks, scavenging carcasses, eating live plants, or feeding on abundant algae growing on rocks and wood. Most crustaceans are omnivores to the max!
