Just gotta say, I love the Rob stories. I can't speak for everyone but as a man who finds it ridiculous how society expects us not to cope with emotions outwardly it's great that these stories bring you and us joy and laughter at the same time. And I think they also help your cope!

Hi Willie , I also put a Ducati spacer on the 1200XE throttle and can say it definitely improves throttle response, cutting out initial lag when clutch is engaged.

Hi Will, a throttle spacer would probably fix your issue , I remember The Missenden Flyer put one on his Ducati Panigale when he bought it, it's worth a try & a cheap fix. I shaved my head after a bad haircut in the 90s., my girlfriend made me wear a beanie to bed as she reckoned my head had a blue glow to it in the moonlight 😅😊

Haha!!! 🤣😂🤣😂🤣 apparently you can't fit a throttle spacer to the T120, something to do with the metal housing on the bars 🤔

Love the Rob stories ! Hilarious ! Thats a beautiful Tiger. Remapping probably would smooth it out some. I just feather my clutch at low speeds.

Nice one Willie. The throttle spacer works really well. For some reason Triumph (and others) insisted on still having free play on the throttle despite it being redundant on TBW. If you go to any Triumph showroom now you'll see that it's been removed on later models.

Hey mate, so I've been Googling throttle spacers for the T120 and some people say that you can't fit one to the T120, I'm going to look into it more though as that seems like an easy fix!

@@2wheeledwillie395 That's strange Willie. I'm sure it's accepted as a "standard" modification across owners? Ah, wait. On checking, it appears it fits all the range except the T120 due to the T120 (like the T100) having cast aluminium switch cubes vs the larger plastic housings on the Speed Twin and Scrambler models. Doh! 😞

Hello bud, another brilliant Rob story had me chuckling when you said he looked like an alien 😂l don't think you can do the spacer thing on a T120 but i'm happy to be proved wrong 👍

Shaving your eyebrows can't be that bad, some women do it and draw them back on, although come to think of it the women that do that do look a bit scary. Both triumphs looking great, come to think of it, I don't think triumph make any bad looking looking bikes at the moment.

Get that Booster plug Willie & if still snatchy get a T100. I knew a guy who had a Speedtwin 1200 & loved it & while it was getting a service he test rode a Tiger 🐅 900 & once got back traded Speedtwin 1200 which HE loved for Tiger 🐅 900.Reckon it the mist comfy bike he ever owned & loved the 900 Triple & gave him access to NZ 🇳🇿 many gravel roads.HE was a modern classic fan too.
