Have I Got News For You S04E03 - Danny Baker & Annabel Giles 0806am 15.3.22 i watched his stiff upper lip yesterday. i dont mind him, hislop, when he's presenting programmes on subjects, himself, is interested in. seems that kindda televisual programming is on the wane... do you think he'll present a show regards the flaneur and the lit crits who surrounded this chapist stance...?

@@domb8448 17.3.22 2038pm Have I Got News For You S04E03 - Danny Baker & Annabel Giles 17.3.22 2046pm maybe alan whicker would have passed himself off as a bit of the old flaneur - he was finnicky enough... and a chap!!! but clive james? dunno.. it's more a mind set than owt else.. that said, you do need the clobber to match the mind set and the mores.... and i do know of folk who took mapping their locale to literal extremes as opposed to adding aspects of their own whimsy tothat which they encountered or what they would encounter. i mean; if you want that kind of archival matter than it's already been achieved with metropolitan regional surveys. the eccentric was part and parcel of everyday life once over. seems frowned upon now. maybe you should make the assholes who discourage such meanderings and social interaction to read all manner of bollox in the manner of the french wits - so as to give us, the rambler and wanderers, a bit of a rest from their incessant b.s... edmund white? never heard of him - not one of those communist poofta poets you all speak so highly of, is he? n.b hislop's a bit of a throw back to the flaneur and he has the education and insight to carry it off... debonair wit and sartorial panache. sadly, short folk aint as fashionable as their taller more defunkt counter parts...

@@JJONNYREPP Metropolitan Regional Surveys hardly gives a character or flavour of the human aspect of the experience. I could look at Haussman's plans all day for merit or character but you need to meet the whores and traders for your authenticity.

@@domb8448 Have I Got News For You S04E03 - Danny Baker & Annabel Giles 17.3.22 1607pm minus the fleas, sir. there's enough of the c***s round here as it is!!! yeah; harold lloyd - weirdly my fav silent movie star (who did flout the rules and go legit with his talkies stance... i think only laurel and hardy carried that off to some semblance of success)... yeah; i really did think he had done all his own stunts. i was devastated to find this was not the case... or maybe he did and they made out he'd bottled it? aye; some sap should open corner house in manchester again - forgo the spanish who seem to think they are the acme of the entertainment industry and do a saturday and sunday matinee morn skit - show all the old serials and cliff hanger gear.. and harold lloyd etc etc etc...
