I just woke up late and here is our lovely little gentleman Coco to greet me with him lovely table manners!! I havevtexred before about my loving and astonishing Standard Poodles I am grieving over the loss of three out of 5 this past 10 months from sudden deaths related to age. All in late teens. Sooo!! Here we have Coco mimicking many taught manners of my Poodles. He listens and hard to say if conceptualizing lije a poodle but he certainly knows the routine but allows you to lead it with the words. He is amazing!!! I just haven’t seen this calm , intelligent ability of the Havanese before! Usually I see them as such hilarious little clowns who do their darling antics to make you laugh because they enjoy fir you to be so happy and feel loved. I understand they are a Velcro natured dog and crave to be near you all the time. I know they can run like the wind and speed around performing hilarious little antics and puppies I have seen on UTube and in person and they do the most charming little hop about it’s impossible to not laugh just at them ! Then they like even that!! Your work with Coco at meals is a ‘bravo’!! He seems to live in a structured and seemingly calm environment. It seems consistent I have been feeding raw dried kibbles or patties not frozen that hot water added to . Use high end kibble with it and then leave a cup of kibble out for grazing. My dogs were quit intelligent and knew how much they needed to eat , always in beautiful condition untill last two hours life . I always keep fresh water available and never s problem with in intinency. Their mama led them all out in a little line through the back doors to the yard and that was potty training!!! She was quit insistent about this as she was such a lady like princess herself!! Thank you for dearest Coco and showing us his lovely gentleman manners at meal time. You and your wife’s voice and Coco are such a delightful gift and bring healing and warm ness to my broken heart. Peace 🐩💕

Havanese are an amazing breed. Coco is such a joy to be part of our lives.

My Havanese, Teddy, has kibble and chicken too. He’s a really good boy and will sit, I tell him wait, he looks up at me with his big brown eyes and when I say OK, he goes to eat his food! He also loves cheese, but he gets it sparingly!

so well behaved! my milo is very picky and only eats 1 and a half meals a day. he doesn't eat his dinner until very late at night. he loves cheese as well

@@mmxhii Our dog loves cheese too. Our friend's havanese is also a light eater. We have to limit Coco's food intake or else he will be more over weight.

Raw food s far better for their health, that's why given the choice they won't eat kibble, I changed my pup over when he was 4 months old and he did far better on it.

My havanese is named Cookie, he’s very picky and I need more advice on what else you feed Coco besides these?

Hi. We add boiled chicken to his kibbles. We also put fish or beef as well. Coco likes to eat. Our friend's havanese is more selective. I guess you can try various foods and see what Cookie likes. Good luck.
