It looks to me like Ismene was blind, and whatever Reus is holding was given to her as a test of some sort, and it gave her sight. Maybe more sight than they thought? Or maybe they knew the effects and made her have it anyway. Either way, the animation is stellar as always

​​@@Lostpai69 could be thinking it's the eyeless figure, her eyes were somewhat a lighter colour (or she could be blind.) And the stone has something that's related towards the creature, once she consumed it, it probably made an side effect towards her. I also heard another theory in a different video, that Reus, is an shapeshifter and has something part of the plan.

I know this is an old comment but I would like to add smth since the first episode of load aim burn has come out since then That white cat with the red eyes used Asha’s amulet to heal cats, if Ismene was blind in some way and seems associated with the rose eyes, could said cat have used the amulet to heal her?

I don't know how Asha managed to make everything so perfect, a beautiful blend of bounciness, smoothness, and just making the poses so natural. Every single frame is perfectly timed and paced, and the characters look so expressive. Backgrounds are incredibly drawn, and the mastery of color never ceases to amaze me. Also, it's just a great meme! Super good music, and in general a very open meme with many possibilities.

At first, I thought Ismene was this gentle sweet motherly character for Dante and Reus to fight over, now I realise she’s far from it

AHHH your animations have such good weight to them as usual, they’re so easy to follow and that walk cycle especially is awesome. You have a knack for mixing tweeting and frame by frame really well!!! I think Isemene is becoming my favorite character. I’m super intrigued about her past relationship with Sandra and it seems like she betrayed Sandra? Or Sandra thinks she betrayed her? And Reus definitely seems more sinister in recent videos, or at least a major antagonist for Sandra. I’m so excited for episode one!

Oh boy I'm worried about our boy Dante. He's shown saving Ismene in Viper, but also show being some what smug about presumably dating Ismene given the whole flower in this animation. But at the same time Dante is the one holding the puppet strings trying Ismene down in this animation.. unless it's not actually Dante. In Peer Pressure we see Reus shapeshifting into Dante, and we know he can fully transform into other people as seen in Viper when he pretended to be Ismene before Sandra tried to kill him.. Reus is holding the red stone that presumably gives Ismene her sight back, but we know her power isn't tied to that as seen in Peer Pressure where she's blind but still is using her ability though I haven't seen her using her ability when she still had her sight unless I'm missing something. Reus and Dante have had a falling out as seen in No Angels and seen angry at each other in the Opening. Reus is seen working for The Queen in this animation and doing weird magic things in Americas so I certainly think Reus is up to shenanigans.. But this is all assuming lore hasn't changed in the 3+ years of this project existing. In Conclusion: ??? Reus is up to something I feel.

I’ve seen a few people throwing out theories of the red stone being some test and that’s why it changes her eye color to red, but if you look back at previous animations with Sandra in them, her eye color seems to be an exact match! Something tells me this isn’t the first time they’ve done this. It also might explain some things is the “didn’t come to play” animation meme. With Sandra’s palette changing from one of blues and browns to reds and warmer browns. While it’s a long shot and wouldn’t explain the change in bandana color, I think it’d be cool is Sandra actually went through a similar test, and her color transformation is when whatever was given to her finally kicked in. Again, long shot, but it’d be really cool! Also the strange healer cat with limited facial feature is obviously tired in somehow, maybe possession? They seem at least able to connect to Ismene somehow or other. Idk, I’m not a big theorist so I just like pointing out details so people who actually know what to look for can use them and figure something out😅

I vomited 83 times in anticipation for this then died momentarily from the hype but it was so good i was brought back from the grave 10/10!!!!!!

I like the neat little detail how in the beginning before she's in the field her eyes are blue while strolling, but when that glitchy effect comes up you see it change from blue to red. Then you see her have red eyes as she's strolling again.
